Hello everyone I know this is a long shot but I am looking for any of the gift card codes or promos if anyone has one and not planning on using it.  Specifically for dollars or percent off a purchase type of codes.  I would really love to buy a specific cologne set for my fiance but money is a little tight for now so any little bit of savings will help greatly.  Please PM me if you have one for me.  Thanks so much!  =)

I unfortunately don't have a code to offer but I wanted to suggest that if the cologne set is also available at Ulta, a 20% off coupon may net you greater savings than a sephora card (even more if you can get your hands on 2 coupons - I got a $99 set for only $59.40, plus there's 2 GWPs you could get as well).

Thanks so much for the suggestion!  I went to look up the gift set and they don't carry it at Ulta.  They have a very similar one on Ulta but the one I wanted to get him does not contain the shave balm as the second piece in the set.  He doesn't care for shave balm.  This is the one I'm hoping to get him at Sephora - http://www.sephora.com/prada-luna-rossa-gift-set-P390387?skuId=1651199.  Also because I only have two weeks left to make VIB status by spending just over fifty dollars more.  On Ulta I noticed the other gift set says "excluded from coupons" and I tried out a 20% off coupon but unfortunately it didn't take off any discount so I don't know how you were able to make that other purchase but guess you got lucky haha.   Thanks so much for the suggestion.  Really greatly appreciated!  =)

Ah, gotcha. I hope you can get your hands on a sephora discount and hit VIB! /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I think ulta's site has a glitch where even if some items aren't eligible for a discount, if you have something else that is eligible in your cart ($3 bobby pins for me), then the discount is taken off of your total cart value.

I was told, directly, by a Sephora DM that Sephora and SiJCP do not sync at all - that they are very nearly different companies, and that JCP has basically purchased the Sephora logo to use for their stores. He said that Sephora as a company ties to maintain a uniform appearance throughout Sephora and SiJCP stores, but that there is no way to merge their two computer systems, which is why there is such difficulties with cross-returns, and some people getting points and such.

Now, I don't know how much he knows or how accurate his info is, but it seemed to mesh with the experiences that a lot of ladies on this board have had!

I'm just going through a few days of posts so sorry if this has been covered.. I work at SiJCP and what you're saying makes sense.. SiJCP uses the JCP computer system, because we can also ring up JCP items at our registers.
SiJCP can take any kind of sephora gift card, from online, their store, etc. If you purchase a giftcard inside SiJCP, it can ONLY be used inside a JCP (because they could technically use it out on the floor for clothes or whatever). I always let people know, I'd be so sad to get one and not be able to use it online.

That's also why even if we do an online return with no receipt (the packing invoice is not a receipt, there are no prices on it or method of payment showed), we can only offer a merchandise credit to be used inside of JCP.. If you return it to a freestanding Sephora then at least you can use that credit any way that you want to.

Editing to add- I have no idea why people wouldn't get their points, I've done a million small clearance polish purchases and each one shows up almost immediately online. Still, If you have problems, I'd check online after each time while you still have your receipt around.

Do ya'll think the KVD Innerstellar palette will still be around in January? I've never bought any of her stuff so I'm not sure how fast it sells out, but I NEED that palette, and I'd like to wait until it counts towards next years spend. (since I already went above and beyond this year)

It used to be that my SiJCP purchases don't show up in my purchase history and I could swear that my points wouldn't update, but then if it was a small purchase then I couldn't even be 100% sure whether it had updated or not because my memory gets fuzzy (plus my mind has trouble reading larger numbers sometimes - 12678 can become 16278 or 16728 or another variation where only the first and last digits register properly in my head - I was so miserable in some engineering classes where we had to read 7-10 digit decimals off of tables of values!) But now that they have a page online that tracks your points earning and spending, I can see "+points from your purchase at SiJCP" even if the item isn't in my purchase history.

I feel like most palettes are around a few months before they phase out.. We have it in store but haven't really sold very many yet. When I was swatching them, some seemed a bit drier in texture and some were the awesome typical KVD quality.
Has anyone else played with it? What did you think?

Exactly, even the UD vice palette was around a few months and they really play out the LE factor.

Yeah, labeling something LE increases it's desirability and sometimes it becomes the selling point on whether someone on the fence over it will buy it or not. It goes from "meh I can get it later" to "omfg I must have it now!!" I don't mind eyeshadows that are LE since they take so long to use up, but it breaks my heart sometimes when lippies are LE - it makes me hesitant to use one I love because I know I can't get it again /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Two things...I finally tried a Bite Lip product yesterday and...love! I get why people love them...they feel different. Then, I have all these new goodies to play with from the last many months which are sitting unopened...as in still packaged and in the bags/shipment boxes and I SO want to open everything and play, but we are moving within the next two months and I wanna avoid opening things till I move and order my new vanity. Not to mention, there have been people in and out of the apartment moving things around and fixing leaks (main reason we are moving) and I'm quite OCD about people touching my things (meaning, the people needing to pick them up and move them to work on stuff), so I don't want to have things sitting around.
