Hi,
I’ve got a new foundation a few weeks ago and it is wiping down every day since I’ve bought it. My face looks very bad after a whole day of using it and I’m wondering what can possibly cause my problem😔. Yesterday my friend told me that I should check the ingredients of my foundation and also of makeup base which I use.
Can you guys help me? Maybe someone had the same problem with this products? I’m using Eveline Wonder Match foundation and NYX HydraTouch base (I’ll post pictures below).
Thank you!

Hi! Your foundation is based on silicone and your makeup base is mainly based on water - it makes really bad mix which destroy your whole make-up and your face looks bad🫠. Maybe try to buy makeup base which has silicone in its ingredients. I hope that it is going to work😃.

Hi Kamilas1234,

Since both the NYX primer and the Eveline foundation are both water based products, it sounds like your skin's pH is probably more on the oily side, hence your make-up breaking down during the day.

I suggest doing a skincare consultation to make sure what your skin's pH actually is. Also always apply your make-up to a clean face using skin care products meant for your skin's pH balance.

Good luck! :)

I agree with this,

@kamilas1234 I've had some clients who have had similar issues and it's because their skin is too oily for the water based products and so the products tend to break down during the day especially in the afternoon time. I'd look into your skin pH and see if that would be the issue. I've used the hydra touch before on clients and never had any issues, as for the Eveline I've never tried it so I can't be any help there.

Ultimately, I would check your skin's pH levels and go from there.

I have heard that Smashbox Photo Finish Oil-Free Foundation Primer is really good for people with oily skin however I've never personally tried it. Though, some people swear by that product.

As I've mentioned in previous posts I LOVE Maybelline Fit Me foundation for my clients. I've worked on clients that have oily skin and this product seems to work really good even with their oily skin. I can't really say much for the Eveline product you are currently using because I have never used it before nor know of anyone that has. Another product I've heard good things about for oily skin is Estée Lauder double wear, again I've never personally tried this product but I've heard good things.

I wish you the best of luck and if you do find a primer and foundation combination that works for you I'd love to hear it!

Thanks and good luck :D
