Okay. So I'm spending my $15 gift card tonight, and I'm pretty set on getting the Kat Von D Lock It Tattoo Foundation and the Tarte Sweet Dreams Set, buuuut I can't remember what shade of foundation I got matched for in store last month!

I remember that it was the lightest shade that they had in the store, but not the lightest shade in the line (which is the elusive L42 that they only have in stock once in a blue moon.) So the second lightest shade. But L44 and L46 and L48 are all pretty similar except for the very slight undertone shift and I am just completely stumped as to which is considered the "second lightest" shade in the line, especially since most of the research I've done has indicated that the numbers don't necessarily indicate an exact transition from lightest to darkest.

I won't be able to get matched before making this purchase because the card expires tomorrow and I'm busy until Sephora closes so I really need to get this figured out tonight. Any advice?

Do you have another foundation that you use? You can enter it into the color match and see what color you'd be in the Lock It or at least narrow it down...

Okay. I ended up backing out of the purchase all together. Money isn't as tight as it was, but it's still tight enough that I can't justify dropping money just for the $15 GC. If it was for gifts, I could, but I already made those purchases and I don't really have any more makeup-enthusiast friends.

I went to SIJCP and bought my mom a small Algenist set for Christmas and a pump for my Nars foundation. I rarely wear foundation and it was such a pain to get out of the bottle the other day! I used my $20 off and they gave me a gold Urban Decay mini eyeliner. It took forever, there was a long line and then the item was not showing up in the system.

I'm going crazy.  Somehow I was able to find all of the rewards (there were four 500 point rewards), but when I look everywhere I can only see two of them (tarte and clinique).  

Does anyone know how to find all of them?  I've been searching for probably 45 minutes and I can't find my way back to that other list.  I know it was formatted a little differently than the regular page on the Beauty Rewards link.  The "see all rewards" button just loops back to my original list.

Sort of, lol.  I'm specifically looking for the 250 point list, but only remember the details about the 500 point list.

I tried searching BI 250 PT, but that doesn't work.  

But thank you!!  And if you know the trick for the 250, I'd really appreciate it!  I'm only seeing 3 options.

Here are some swatches and my review on the new YSL tint in oil lippies.

I bought Undress Me and Drive me Bronze.  Initially I thought Undress Me was going to be a super pale clear-pink, but l was wrong, it is clear.  Actually, it does have the faintest hint of a yellow/orange-but basically it is clear..  So I "wasted" money because I was wanting a pale clear pink, but it worked out in the end..

Drive me Bronze is gorgeous!  If any of you remember the samples of the YSL glossy stain-Rebel Nudes, there was that one reddish bronze/copper color many loved--but the real deal tube had less of that bronze/copper shimmer we all expected....  This is like that, minus the deeper red base, SO pretty!  

The gloss is slippery and oily, but thicker, I find it doesn't run off my lips, bleed, or spread.  It is very very hydrating.  I am keeping the clear (Undress Me) to wear at night (mainly) because I find it so healing and hydrating.  I sleep directly under our industrial a/c vent so my lips take a beating from the air, and this stuff stays on the whole night.  No smudges, no transfer to pillow cases, it just slowly sinks in over night and leaves perfectly hydrated lips come morning.  

Also, it has the classic YSL scent, but compared to all the other lippies, this one is very faint in strength.  If the glossy stains are a 9 out of 10, I'd say these are about a 4.  Longevity during normal waking hours of eating and drinking, I find one application lasts about 2 hours give or take.  Some people say they leave a tint behind, but I don't find that true with the copper one, so maybe it is just the pink ones?  They are sheer, but have shimmer that shines...think of these as more like a shimmer/color enhancer vs. full on gloss.  

Anyways, I highly recommend them, and can't wait to pick up a couple more (pale pink and either cherry or the purpley raspberry one).  

Here is a hand swatch of both colors, the applicators, and a pic of the copper on (excuse the weird/wonky eye angle, I was being rushed by a hungry husband, lol).  ((For reference, I have very pale lavender tone lips when bare))

**edited to add** The shimmer is not gritty, it is very smooth.

I decided to finally bite the bullet on the KVD lightning liner in Poe.  I fell in love with it when I swatched it and knew it would be mine someday.  I couldn't think of a better time to get it since I had the promo card and it's not something I could get at Ulta for points.  

I also picked up the Boscia peppermint papers, my bday gift from Feb (ha!), my VIB welcome kit, a Caudalie face mist, a nail polish correcting pen and my free samples.  Not bad for $40!
