Swung by a Sephora today while Christmas shopping (the scary busy mall isn't so scary busy when it first opens on a weekday it seems) and picked up the MUFE birthday present. I won't be trying out the mascara until the two I have opened right now are done, but I'm liking the lipstick. It's actually just ever so slightly darker than my lips with a hint of pink. It's a real nice 'my lips but better' shade. I'll need to see how I like the formula over time. It feels nice, but I wish they hadn't added the fragrance since I can be rather sensitive to those things.

Also, asked if I could get foundation matched and had the joy of getting the help of a super knowledgeable worker. She really knew her stuff. It was great talking with her. I came home with samples of the Sephora brand foundation and UD's Naked. I'm feeling optimistic! (The optimism will probably only last a few days...)

No. I feel like it's hopeless. I'll probably just keep them and beg my boyfriend to buy the other one.

This is whatever, but it bugs me that they subtract the gift card from your total INCLUDING tax, not before- so instead of paying $37 on a $50 item, I'm paying $39, because it's $2 more in tax... there's no reason for them to do it that way, either. COMPLAINING ABOUT FREE STUFF??

I think its b/c they treat it as a gift card......

I haven't tried it but looking at the receipt for my order it showed up as "Gift Card" so I speculate if one return the stuff one "should" get that same amount back in gift card...   hence I was curious if you've done it and if my speculation is indeed what sephora does...

I am so torn between using my gift card on some nars lippies or the YSL ink foundation. I don't *need* either and I have a full unopened MUFE foundation from the vib sale....but that ysl is so NICE.

You can always reorder the same thing with you gc then return it unused. There fault for not retroactively apply it or cancelling the order so you vould redo it.

It is super easy to depot - they are already magnetized in so they just need to be magnetized out!

I'm glad somebody posted fan firday.  I always forget to look now that they have a habit of waiting til afternoons to post, and dropped the tab to go back and look at just ff stuff.  

I have no idea if I like these kind of scents, but it was interesting enough to get me to pull the trigger on an Urban Decay optical blurring brush.

As a side note, I got two of the YSL tint in oil lippies this week.  I'll post my review and swatches of them this weekend.  Love them!

To me, they smell summery, citrusy, and unisex. They are lighter and not as long lasting as the original Acqua di Parma Colonia. I think the Fico di Amalfi (fig) is my favorite of the bunch.

I want to thank the two ladies who SAVED me BIG $$!!  My one order is processing and the other is on standby (oops jumped the gun I was so excited! LOL)...YEAH!  I love that I could get more, for less, for my giftees.  AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!

That sounds like they'd be right up my alley then!  Maybe if I wear the fig one my husband will turn his video game off for a while and pay attention to me, LOL. (my husband loves fig smelling stuff)

Interestingly, this promo does not require standard ground shipping, even though it is perfume... but if you add the teeny, tiny dkny roller sample, it does require hazmat shipping.  Such weird discrepancies!

Man, I've been doing WAY too much shopping for myself this month so far, lol.  I just got done telling myself "no more for yourself!" haha.  And then I realized I need a new calendar book for budgeting..but we can count that as a "household" expense, right? /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

You know what...I might just wrap my own up in invoices to be silly!  I theme my wrapping to the person, so what better wrapping for a Sephora junkie!  Yeah, I'm going on 3 1/2 hours of sleep myself, thanks to my cat being an a-hole and insisting on feeding them on weekday schedule (the concept of week-end does not exist on a kitty watch apparently!)
