Hi, I was wondering everyone's thoughts on eye shadow sticks. What brand work the best? What shades work the best? Are there any hacks that I should know about? I am thinking about switching over to them because they seem easy to apply. Thanks

I've used a few eyeshadow sticks and they are great especially if you're starting out and/or want a precise design. I think the shades that would work best would depend on your undertone and what colours work best on YOU. That being said what would look gorgeous and beautiful on one person would look draining and non-complimentary on another. It's all about finding the colours that flatter you and your undertone.
I wouldn't say there are any real hacks to know about shadow sticks though I would say that it's really handy that you don't need any other tool to apply. Another great thing is that they are portable and versatile and as mentioned above amazing for beginners.

Oh nice! Which brands have you tried out if you don't mind me asking? I currently have some some from ShadowSene by SceneGence and a few colours from Maybelline Color Strike and I really like them both. The ShadowSene is more liquidy but also easy to apply and the Maybelline is more of a powder that you apply but both work great but for some reason I kind of want to find a product that more of a cream type product, which is why I haven't found one that is exactly what I'm looking for.I have been trying a few brands out, but haven't found any that really pop for me. Hi and thanks for your response. I have tried Luxaza in the neutral and brown shades. I like the shades that I got, but it seems like they go on a little dry, which I don't like. I do like the little brush on the end of the eye shadow stick to help blend the color in. I am finding that it is important to use an eye primer with them. I have tried Maybelline color tattoo also and like you I have found it powdery and dry. Like you I am in search of a more creamy and smooth eye shadow stick. I have heard that Loreal Paris makes a stick called paradise that is supposed to be really creamy and glide on easily and is supposed to build and blend easily. They also have some really nice shimmer shades. I am going to take your suggestion and try Shadow sense because you said it is more liquidy. I'll let you know what I think. Talk to you soon
