It was more fun getting it too, lol. We taught Z how to make friendship bracelets so I made mine with her favorite color and Hubby's.
I took a leap of faith and purchased the Guerlain Meteorites with my 20% off. Everyone on here raves about them and says they are def worth the price. I went by a Sephora to try them out, but they didn't carry them in-store.

I just made 3 purchases, one small $25 brush, lip liner, hair tie to get a 2nd bag #1 and then 1 for my HG Dior primer and then the Vice3. I used Mr. Rebates...but I'm worried about no tracking for orders. Hope I get my $$ =)
Also I don't really like the VIce packaging, but I need some color in my life. Thinking about a few of the sets too...

I was wondering if I should slice and dice my orders to get another gift bag. But, 20% off seemed the way to go and I already have a Sephora order coming today. :blush:
I don't think I should purchase from Sephora for a very very long time. I need to start buying for my 17 and 18 year old boys for Christmas. I don't think Sephora can help me with these two nuts.

For me the $5 savings with the 20% wasn't worth the contents of the bag, that for me was worth $10-15. Fragrance sets might be a nice Sephora gift for the boys. They are $60 (but $48 with 20% and $42.24 with Mr Rebates) and come with a bunch of mini sprays to try and a gift certificate for a full size of their choice.

I went to the VIB Rouge event last night and it was nice, but crowded. I only ended up getting the Hourglass Immaculate foundation while there, but I may get more online if it ever lets me on the site. I've had the "You're Almost There" screen up for hours and it keeps refreshing but I have yet to get in. Probably for the best right now, my wallet needs a breather.

I give up. I've been trying to shop at Sephora since midnight, and the site is just continually down for me. They know this happens ever single year on these sales events. They have the time and money to easily fix this issue in advance. They refuse to do so, which means they are purposely letting it happen. It limits the number of people who can use the discount.
If it is back up when I get home, I might buy a couple things. But they ticked me off too much already to buy my full list. I'll either skip some items I wanted and can live without, or I'll get them from Nordstrom.
At least I was able to place an order for facial cotton pads to use the promo bag code, picked bag #3... the Dior mascara point perk, 3 free samples, my Rouge bday gift, and the tote bag.
I wanted the Sephora Formula X point reward too, but I didn't pick it up because it'd delay my order shipping. :-\
