I think our UPS guy has fun thinking to silly places to put packages.  One day I had one just under the doormat--a big box with a doormat on top.  Another time the chairs on my front porch were rearranged to hide it.  Also, behind the broom we leave out there.  A small one in an empty watering can.  We live in an older neighborhood close to the city (houses closer together) and its fairly active--always people buzzing around. Our neighbors would notice someone taking something off our porch.  I think he just does it for a giggle.

Just did some new damage online tonight.  The nail polish did it, I'm blaming it for making me look longer at new stuff, lol.  

All in all, I ordered:

-Jin Soon nail polish: Farrago

-KP Duty body scrub (I tried a couple samples of this and love it)

-First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Liquid Recovery

-Estee Lauder Pure color sculpting lipsticks: insatiable ivory and defiant coral (this is one of my most fave lip formulas)

-clearance Sephora eye pencil sharpener (will be a stocking stuffer)

-Nudestix eye pencils: Burnish, stardust, and smoke

and then picked up the marc jacobs mini roller ball promo, clinique face scrub for men promo, bare minerals 3pc promo (lip/eye/blush), and then a bunch of samples that'll be part of my Christmas raffle game prizes.  I forgot to put in a promo for one order /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />  oh well.. Ebates was still 8% tonight, so I broke my orders up to get max promos and samples with the higher ebates.  Yay!  

And now I need to go apologize to my debit card and assure it that it'll be okay, lol.  I do still have a 70$ return to make this weekend sometime.

Yes!  Thanks for the heads up.  Snapped this up tonight, didn't want to chance it selling out.  Wish there was a better promo code to use, but oh well.  Now watch there be an awesome fan friday when I don't need to spend any more money, lol.

Yay, glad it still worked for ya!  I have no idea if I like the scent myself, so if I don't I'm going to include it in the raffle present bags I'm doing this Christmas for the ladies in the family.  They're all going to love me, LOL.

I hope I like it.  From the looks of them, I think I can replace a couple blushes I have now with this one palette, but you never know since they're so different in variations of the blush/lighting powders.  I hope the peach one is as nice as the current stand alone peach version.  I waited on buying it because I saw this palette will have a peach also.  

In other news...I'm so disappointed with Ulta's brand blush.  The colors aren't bad, but compared to a nice Nars blush, it looks so fake and chalk like almost.  It doesn't blend well, just sits there.  I guess that's why I have no problems paying 30$ for a blush.  Plus Nars blush is like "the" only blush that actually lasts on my cheeks all day.  Even the Tarte blushes don't last more than a couple hours on me.  The Hourglass ambient blushes last about 4-5 hours on me, which is longer than Tarte, but they're so pretty and glowy!  I like how they're a bit lighter and glowy, it looks more natural vs. "hey, you've got blush on!" lol.

I'm in love with exactly 1 Ulta brand blush (Exposed) and it's actually my go to blush other than Cindy-Lou from theBalm but others I have tried, I know EXACTLY what you're talking about with the chalkiness. Blush is one of those things I have to use with a light hand because my cheeks get so ruddy so I try to stay away from really strong blushes.

My face eats blush, I like to use Tartes cheek stain and then I set it with a nars or kat von d blush. I know the Hourglass would just vanish.

Would you be able to ask fedex to always ask for a signature when they deliver to you?  Seems like the only way to ensure that you get your stuff.

I don't usually deal with fedex. I asked them when I talked to their customer service, but they said it's up to the delivery person. I'm considering putting up a note to always knock and wait for me to answer the door and not to leave packages. But they said it's up to the delivery person.

also, Sephora uses Ontrac in my area. I asked if they could ship UPS and the snooty guy said no, they have a contract with Ontrac in my area so that is who they use.   Ontrac people are the worst - they REALLY don't care about stolen packages.

FedEx should always knock, and if they don't get a reply they leave a note - at least, that is their policy here, due to the amount of money they've had to pay out for missing packages. You should check the policy with your FedEx guy/gal.

UPS on the other hand just don't give a fudge. I HATE dealing with them, plus I never know when to expect them throught out the day. It's all just ugly. I am sorry that happened to you!

My UPS guy is soooo nice, and always waits for a signature! He is the only one who does, and I now appreciate him greatly for it. Fedex - at my old address they would do that, but apparently the drivers here in the new area don't. It really depends on the drivers... or else maybe after this time they will start asking for signatures, hopefully!

I'd say it really depends on your driver/delivery guy.  My regular UPS guy is awesome goes above and beyond! But when he goes on vacation, his subs are terrible.  

Agreed, it definitely depends on the delivery guy. My UPS man is awesome as well! I have not seen a replacement yet... I hope they aren't terrible.

That is awesome that they found them. I had a USPS one lost (i had a vacation hold but it somehow got lost during it. grrrr) and nothing ever came of it. Sad. I've been having terrible package luck lately...

Wish I could be excited for this Ambient blush palette but they barely show up on medium-tan skin tone.....come on Hourglass, make some deeper shades for those of us that want to throw our money at you too!!

 I am trying the blush palette but my experience with hourglass is that nothing even shows up on my face
