WTF why is this set "worth" $38? http://www.sephora.com/british-spice-P389309?skuId=1644830 It's two fullsized BL polishes--that's $30. This totally makes me side-eye for the way they "value" things.

But the price is good. $15 for two full sized BL polishes /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I caved, bought the new Butter London duo for 15$.  I like the colors, and it is basically buy one get one free.  

I agree about the inflated value of the set though.  How does 15+15=38?  Unless they're counting the "value" of the bag it comes in, or unless butter london is raising the price by 4$ on future new colors...I don't get it.  At least it is the "value" of the set and not the actual cost. /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Any points I've used in-store have always been added/subtracted immediately from my account.  Was this at a free standing Sephora or Sephora JCP?  I know JCP Sephoras get a lot of complaints about point calculations.

SinJCP. The little devil part of my brain is going "OOH OOH GO GET MORE IF IT DOESN'T COUNT" but the good part is shushing it. I will not chase after them to take away my points though. I figure with all the points they haven't given me that I haven't emailed about we're about even if they don't take it out.

Gah, all the new pretties on Sephora!  I currently want the Gimme More Lip, Vice 3, and the Too Faced holiday palette.

Apparently I am just destined to sign over all my paychecks from now till christmas to them!

They finally subtracted the points. While I'm sad I didn't get a free perk I know my conscience would have given me hell over it later after the novelty wore off so it's probably better this way

I was totally gonna pop on the buxom set...until i looked up dupes for the lipstick. UD Anarchy seems to be a pretty close dupe, and I have that...plus a few others that are close to it /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> Can't get on board if I already have the lipstick color.

Eta. Got the origins set instead /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I'm unsure about it too, but I have sooo many points (over 6000) I need to stop being so picky, plus my Sephora lets me return point perks if I don't like them. I hope it works out though!

Anarchy is similar but I wouldn't call it a dupe. Anarchy is pink and this is definitely purple.

bad reference pics, I have horrible swatch lighting in my office. There is a bigger difference in person. With flash on they look identical though lol

So I got curious about the Butter London duo's value being 38$ for two polishes, so the value should be only 30$... I asked on Sephora's facebook page, and they responded that the additional packaging counts towards the cost...  So they're claiming a dinky little clear plastic "bag" the polishes come in is worth 8$?  Mmmkay!  Lol.
