Makeup experts, I need your help: I have a hard time creating a sharp look with lip liners. Usually that's a GOOD thing, but not always. Even the sharpest tip will come up looking too thick and blurry. Has anyone experienced this problem or does anyone know of any lip liners that give REALLY sharp lines so maybe they won't go so blurry on me when I don't want them to?

I sometimes stick mine in the freezer.  I do that mostly for my Nars chubby lipstick pencils. Sometimes, they seem a little mushy when it's humid or hot.

They showed out of stock at 7am pacific, but then they came back around 10am...Had them in cart and tried to get the pushup code, but it was sold out. After adding a new code the palette and lipsticks were sold out  :scared:

I don't know if I just got a weird one but I swear I can't handle Kat Von D eye shadows. Years ago I bought the Ludwig palette and I swear they had the consistency and feel of really wet, soaked chalk.

Oh man I am super bummed I missed out on the Ladybird palette on sale.  I wonder if I can find it in store somewhere.  I'm sure if it let you place your order you'll get them.  I've only ever had one item cancelled from a sephora order and technically they didn't cancel it they substituted it for a newer product.

Mine is a very pale pink. I will say it's about the worst color ever. I have to basically just rub it in a lot and thin it out so it just becomes clear.... Otherwise I look like I have icing on my lips... And not in a good way...

Is anyone not Rouge (in the NYC/Long Island area) wanting to go to the rouge event Sunday? My friends are all booked and not as beauty obsessed as I am so right now my plus one is open. We don't have to go together, I can just add your name to the list as my plus one if you'd like and you can go on your own. It would be for a Long Island store (because I just prefer a particular LI store even if it is a long drive for me from the city). Anyways if you're interested PM me.

My Smashbox is such a pale pink that it's basically white. I'm wondering if it looks beige for @@knightsgirl because it's the gold packaging reflecting on it. @@knightsgirl, have you removed it from there yet?

Good morning!  I went to Sephora stand alone and also SiJCP last night and wanted to share/ask a couple things.  1) I found out you can get 4x points from 8/4/14 -8/10/14 in-store and online. You can only get 4x points on 8/3/14 during the Rouge event (so I was told). My email invite didn't have a start date so I asked - it implied the 4x started already, but sadly no.  2) There is a separate VIB Rouge BI card - it is red.  I am relatively new to Sephora (but making up for lost time so yes I am Rouge) but saw some posts before asking about this so just sharing on that.  SiJCP manager hooked me up - stand alone (when they saw my card) seemed totally unaware of its existence. 3) has anyone ever signed up for the Glam Shots photo op featuring Smashbox and hair by Bumble & Bumble? It costs (minimum) $75 and you get professional hair, makeup, photos (from a photographer to the stars??) and a CD of your photos to take with you.  I am signed up in the Sacramento, CA Arden Fair Mall location (space still available) so just curious if anyone else has experience with this.  The photo op is open to all, apparently - not just Rouge.  Also - I actually LOVE the Smashbox 'pout' color that came in the GIve me some lip box...I wore it to the mall last night and had a few people ask me what I was wearing!  That being said the color in the box was no where near the color on the box cover.  My tube is almost white vs the pink color shown. I'm not a fan of the NARS orgasm or the UD Naked, but LOVE the Buxom White Russian.  I also tried Buxom's Muah in store last night and will be getting that at the Rouge event.  Haven't tried the other two from the box yet.  Happy Wednesday!!

I thought maybe I just received a really, really bad batch of the Smashbox gloss.  Mine looks like an off white / cream color.  There might be some pink tones in there if I squint and hold my head to the side, but it looks horrible on me.  I'm in love with the Bite pencil in Meritage though.  It more than makes up for the Smashbox.
