I haven't been to any of them... Is it worth a trip? I'm never really in any of the ares they are in so it most likely be a trip to just go there.
Yeah I'm holding out on my Sephora purchases til the event to get the points. I also have a 20% off at Ulta so I actually will probably spend more there. You only need to spend $35 at the Rouge event to get the goodies. And my money saved is worth more than points to me. I will still probably spend more than $35 at the event though. Unfortunately Ulta doesn't sell everything I use (they really need to up their image and get some more high end stuff in there).
Which Murad Eye Cream? I recently got a deluxe sample of their Advanced Active Radiance Serum and I am falling in love with it. So now I'm intrigued by their other products.
Has anyone actually received an email about the event yet? I'm signed up thanks to the link, but still no email. It seems pretty crazy to still not get an invite a week prior to the event. I feel bad for the Rouges who aren't on beauty forums.
The eye cream is Murad renewing eye cream

OMG. I have seriously sampled almost everything available to sample. I get a little bit of success from a couple products, but nothing worth the high dollar cost. The only thing I've bought multiples of and still like is Skyn Iceland's eye gel patches and the eye brightening pen. Although lately I think my skin changed and this pen isn't working as well as it used to for me. My husband still loves it and stole from me last week, lol.
I got a TINY, and I stress tiny, tube of this stuff in my goody bag from the purchase after the cheek/lip class the other weekend. I wasn't expecting anything from it to be honest. I've never had much luck with Murad products that justify the costs.
I put it on at night before bed, and I woke up with a new set of eyes practically. Even my husband noticed in bed before we got up. I looked like I spent a week at a spa getting pampered, had no stress, and the dark shadows were hardly there anymore.
I like how it doesn't have a strong smell, just a faint one. No irritation. It doesn't migrate into the eyes like a lot of them do on me. A little goes a long way. It has been phenomenal for fine lines, stressed skin, and brightening. It does moisturize, but I happen to have extremely dry eye area--so much so that nothing has helped that one bit.
Then, I got a sample foil of Bobbi Brown's extra eye cream, and oh boy... let's just say I've blown a nice chunk of change on eye creams recently. *hangs head*
I tied them layered together, Murad first, BB on top. Miracle! My eyes have been so hydrated and younger looking. I've finally found success. I use the Murad in the AM, and the two combined at night for bed. The BB cream also smells fantastic. My skin is so sensitive to fragrances in products, especially my face. I don't understand why so many eye creams come so heavily fragranced!
I haven't received any emails on the event yet either, but have already registered via the link. I did get my confirmation email though.
I have an expensive face cream to return that isn't working, so I'm putting that money back into the store on the Murad eye cream (they better still have it in stock!), and then I want to check out the Marc Jacobs Florescent beige nail polish again. I liked the online pictures, but wasn't impressed by the bottle in store.. I'm going to try it on my nails this time. And then if they have them in stock, I'm picking up a few more Pearl Masks.
