@: I think you had raved about the pearl mask at Sephora.  I was just at the Face Shop, and they sell a pearl mask for $2.  I bought one and an going to try it.  My Sephora is out of the pearl masks so I won't be able to compare right away.
Which face shop? Manhattan or queens or another? I'm confused if they are all the same place or not lol.

Mmm pearl mask!  I bought and tried one from Sephora at the beginning of this last week.  Love!

Uuuugh, I want to go shopping at Sephora so bad!  I got money burning a hole in my pocket.  But it is pointless because next week is 4x points shopping.  Must...resist!
Aug 3rd I will be buying some more of these babies! I hope they are not out of stock.

@ what are the details on this event? i could go by tomorrow.
Sorry I didn't get back to you in time :-( I hope you were able to find the details on sephora's site if you were interested. If you didn't find the details, I promise it wasn't worth it. :)

I went to the one in Chinatown on Elizabeth St.   It's tiny. I know the one in K-town in the 30's has the masks too, but I haven't been to that one.  I also bought a blueberry mask and pomegranate mask.  They also had konjac sponges for $6.

Yes... must..resist...must get 4x points!  Maybe this will help make up for the lost points I could have gotten- when I bought all the UD pulp fiction stuff from ud.com instead of sephora (I thought it was a ud.com exclusive- then like 2 weeks later it's on sephora.. damnitt!!)

Anyone going to the event in the rockingham mall, NH Sephora?   Im going to that one (if anyone needs a plus one, I think I can edit my registration).  I actually live in MA, but NH is closer (& plus, no sales taxes! whee!)

I wasn't paying close attention to that UD set, because I'm not interested in the colors.. but I thought I read something about exclusivity as well.. maybe it was just for the initial release date?  Or maybe we're both nuts? Hahaha.  It is UD conditioning, lol, seems each new set is exclusive somewhere-at least for a while.

I ended up spending my money on a mini haul from Avenue's clearance section.  If I didn't spend that money I would cave and shop early at Sephora. I'm horrible!  There is a Murad eye cream calling my name something fierce, along with those pearl masks.  But hey, I got 4 tops and a pair of peachy-coral denim capris! :p

  I am an idiot. Forgive me, I haven't slept in days.
Ha ha, no worries! I actually had to go back several pages to find the link, so I figured it just got lost in the shuffle. ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I'm registered at the Venetian location. What Vegas Sephora do you usually shop at, @@ohsailor? I'm intensely curious because I have different experiences at all of them!

I haven't been to any of them... Is it worth a trip? I'm never really in any of the ares they are in so it most likely be a trip to just go there.

Yeah I'm holding out on my Sephora purchases til the event to get the points. I also have a 20% off at Ulta so I actually will probably spend more there. You only need to spend $35 at the Rouge event to get the goodies. And my money saved is worth more than points to me. I will still probably spend more than $35 at the event though. Unfortunately Ulta doesn't sell everything I use (they really need to up their image and get some more high end stuff in there).

Which Murad Eye Cream? I recently got a deluxe sample of their Advanced Active Radiance Serum and I am falling in love with it. So now I'm intrigued by their other products.

I used this link that was provided - I never got the original invite from Sephora either, but I was able to register and got a confirmation e-mail.
Has anyone actually received an email about the event yet? I'm signed up thanks to the link, but still no email. It seems pretty crazy to still not get an invite a week prior to the event. I feel bad for the Rouges who aren't on beauty forums.

I've never gotten an email from them & I was rouge all last yr, and just made rouge again for next year (oops... :blush2: ) I was really bummed about not finding out about the bite beauty thing they had with the make your own custom lipsticks (though to be fair, I don't know if any of the sephoras near me were doing it...)   This event next weekend will be my first rouge event- I'm curious to see how it goes...

I haven't received any emails.

I wonder if Sephora does it intentionally, to ensure that Rouge members who are active on social media get "first dibs." Sort of makes sense to have the people who are most likely to influence others through those outlets get spots first.

If anyone is interested in a guest spot at Lehigh Valley mall in Allentown, PA, PM me. Not sure I can go, but I think someone said the guest can show up separately as long as they are on the list.

The bite event was only in 3 or 4 stores across the country. It was also REALLY lame and overpriced (it cost $36), so I wouldn't be too worried. Also, there wasn't really an email about it, I just check my local store events on their website rather often. Those events are all open to anyone.

Looks like emails still haven't gone out yet about the Rouge event. Silly but whatever.

Based on my most recent visit, I'd say not sure.  I'd read some reviews about the Chinatown location that said the staff was very helpful but not when I was there.  There was only one person there and looked half asleep.  Everything in there is so different than what is in Sephora, drugstores and dept stores.  The labeling and packaging didn't help.  Not descriptive and sometimes only in Korean.  I would have really liked to have someone walk me through some lines and explain a bit.  I always hear about the superior Korean/Asian skincare lines and makeup.  It was a bit daunting, and I wasn't really looking for anything in particular so I just ended up picking up some sheet masks (at least I know what they are) and then left.  The items really did look interesting though.  I have to be in the area on Tues and might stop in again.   And I read in the reviews that the Chinatown location is actually bigger than the K-town location.
