NeoStrata sent me a nice pouch literally packed with samples, some were big deluxe sized ones.

Wow! Did you just email them or did you have to purchase anything?

Unfortunately Per-Fekt only sells the samples but the prize is so low, I might order them on Friday. The packages are really adorable and the service was super nice! Jurlique said no samples.
I emailed Jouer and they said no :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> And they added me to their email list which I didn't really want. :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> Good Morning Jill, Thank you so much for your e-mail and your interest in Jouer. I emailed Shea Terra Organics for samples, but was told they didn't have any.  I did get the 30% off code though.  I used the code to purchase a foot scrub and foot cream.  Its almost sandal season and I need to be ready!
Emailed Whish for samples and also got a 30% off code with free shipping!!!!  Super excited about that!!

I've heard back from Neostrata and Living Proof, they are both sending samples. I'm waiting to hear from Josie Maran, Perfekt, l'occitane and a couple others. I will post if I hear anything!

what address did you use for neostrata? i emailed them 3 times months apart and have never received a reply.

How did you contact Eve Lom?  Did they ship from the UK or from the US?

Caudalie told me no. I was bummed, I really love their brand and buy their products. Too bad.
Sephora usually has the little tubes of Cuadalie samples if you ask for them.

l'occtiane was a yes for me, a pretty quick on etoo! Per-fekt gave me the option to order samples for $1.50, so basically shipping and I wil contact them aboutthat today. I want to find out how many samples those are.

I was under the understanding that PerFekt charges $1.50 PER SAMPLE...Is this correct or is it just a flat $1.50 shipping?

And I asked for particular samples and they told me they didn't have any already packaged, so they would have to squeeze some from the original container into a little jar.  I would prefer actual samples (I find the ones they make dry up quickly).  Can you please tell me which samples they sent you so maybe I could request those since they are already packaged...

I would love to hear more about your experience! It sounds like you found some great brands and I believe good customer servise is part of just that!
Hi!

Earlier in the thread I posted about my experiences in more detail.  That pic was taken when I first started this venture.  Seriously, That was like 2 weeks in...It has been 2 months now and I have accumulated 7 birchboxes of foils, 2 of perfume samples, and 2 LARGE Sephora bags of deluxe samples.  I am actually picking up a rubbermade tote after work because one of my bags is ripping from me digging through it to find something new to try out.  Its like a sample treasure chest lol!!! Please feel free to PM me if you want more info!!!!

It shipped from the UK. I used the fill-in form on the site. It took a few days to get a response.

I just have to say (again) that I am soooo grateful for the amazing Customer Service of some of these companies!  I received my samples from Mario Bandescu a month and a half ago and today I received a follow up e mail from them with my selected products and tips.  I wrote Living Proof to thank them for the samples and let them know I fell in love with their products and because of their willingness to provide samples and great customer service, they have gained another loyal customer...A few days later I received a gift bag UPS filled with full sized products and a hand written thank you note....This is what determines which companies are going to be around in 10 years!!!

So much free stuff just for asking!

I emailed several of the companies that were mentioned in this thread last Sunday, and both today and yesterday my mailbox was jam-packed with samples and even some full-size products.  I now have enough hair care products to last at least a month, if not longer, and enough skin care samples to last even longer!  I only emailed the companies whose products I really wanted to try, and am interested in purchasing the full size products.  I just purchased a small notebook so I can keep notes about which products I liked the best, and want to purchase so I don't forget which is which.

I also used some of the discount codes that a couple of the companies provided me with - I got 30% off some foot care items from Shea Terra, and 25% off and free shipping from Suki, as well as samples when I placed my order.  The rep I spoke to at Suki was super-nice and helpful too!

I am so glad I found Makeup Talk!

I just got this email from OFRA:

Hello Tianna,

Our company policy is that we do ship out any samples at no cost, I would charge you $20 for a sample pack of our products to try on your skin and detect any allergies/reactions. That would include the shipping cost. Please let me know if you would be interested in doing that and I can send you a paypal request for payment...

$20?!?!?!?!?!?

I got the same email. What the hell? I didn't do it, but I would hope they are really nice sized samples.
