I got samples from Josie Maran just last week, so you should try again.  I received a 4 packets of argon oil, 3 of packets of a body butter in different scents, a small tube of an argon oil cream and an adorable little Argon Color Stick, which is a little blush stick in the shade "Love" - a very pretty light dusty rose color.

I just said I was interested in the Josie Moran brand of skincare and cosmetics and asked if there were any samples available.
I emailed Josie Maran today and they told me no...  Sometimes it is frustrating to get different answers.

Hahah so Kashina Giving Beauty is definitely not giving away samles right now (or maybe I do not know the magic word). I was seriously interested in trying the argan oil because my hair is a mess. They ten asked where I live so i sent the address. This is the reply:

We don't have a retailer in St. Louis, unfortunately, but we can send you a sample if you pay $12 for shipping and handling.  Please provide us with your credit card information and full address if you are interested.   Thanks.     Uuuuhm... let me think... no! I rather go somewhere and buy argan oil for $20 instead of a $12 sample where I do not even know what size it is.

Rosewater has been used in cosmetics and skincare just about since people began making skincare and cosmetics.  A lot of people just like the scent, but it also has anti-inflammatory properties and is calming to skin and moisturizing to some extent.  Rosewater actually has some of the oils and waxes from roses in it, even though you cant see it.  Rose hips (the part of the plant where the petals grow off of) is high in vitamin C and is used in skincare products and vitamins, so I'm guessing that rosewater most likely has some natural vitamin C, but I don't know that for sure.  I notice a little difference in my skin when I use the Mario Badescu spray, but I don't know how much of that is from the aloe and other ingredients. It feels good on my skin and I love the scent!  I even spray it in my hair sometimes for the scent.  A lot of Middle Eastern cuisines use rosewater when making deserts too.
That's so interesting I never thought to give rose water a second look now I want to try it.

I've read that Rosewater also softens the skin and reduces redness. I've definitely noticed softness since using a Rosewater toner everyday and of course I love the smell!

I feel like I should clarify its on bumps that want to turn into blemishes, not an actual blemish. But still! I am in love. I recently tried the evologie that was sampled through birchbox (I bought a trial kit from their website where you pay shipping) and the serum has been awesome at actual blemishes. Hopefully the drying cream will reduce your need for a spot treatment. I can't, for the life of me, stop touching my chin ugh. The drying cream has greatly reduced breakouts and I haven't had cystic acne in like six months. I used to get one or two each month on my chin.
Oh, no, I understand. I'm kinda paranoid about my skin & make sure to treat any potential blemishes as soon as I notice them. One thing that has really helped my skin is making sure I don't touch my face unless I've just used hand sanitizer - I got a huge pimple after resting my head on my hand for nearly my entire Saturday class (9am-4.30pm) out of boredom & sheer exasperation. I'm amazed that the drying cream has helped your cystic acne. I thought that could only be treated by a dermatologist.

Oh, wow! I didn't realize it contained vitamin C! It makes more sense now. I thought people just liked the scent or something silly like that.

my TJ Maxx also has lots of DermOrganics products!
That's where I get my DermOrganics shampoo and hair masque! I don't even use the conditioner, I feel like the masque makes a great regular conditioner, it's more moisturizing, and detangles better. I can get the HUGE bottles there that cost $40 each regular price for $20 each. If you go to Ulta they have the little bottles for $16, so much better deal. Couple more $$ for a TON more product.

My theory is that my chin doesn't get the chance to get gunked up enough to build up and get one?? I really haven't had one since last fall and thats HUGE for me. Or maybe it's other products I use? Who knows, I am just thrilled to not get them now, they hurt so bad and I can't stop touching them in hopes that I will eventually be able able to get something to form to pop it. Sorry, that's gross tmi lol..

Sephora has Color Couture oil that I think is Argon oil for 12.00 on their website.  Its a fairly decent sise bottle.  I had a bottle and lasted me quite a while because you only use a little bit at a time.
Have you had good experience for this? i have colored (bleached hair) and I straighten it so I need it mainly for my ends. $12.00 for a full size bottle is not bad. i was just not willing to spend that kind of money on a sample product.

Yeah I don't know... I don't mind if there is a small shipping gfee for a nice sample but $12.00... maybe it's just e but that is more than I would want to spend on one sample.

I received Clear 7 day Hair Challenge from Clear FB Page :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
that looks like a great little kit!  I requested that off their Facebook page too, but haven't received it yet.  I have a post office box though and usually just go get mail a couple times a week.  I'm hoping I have a few goodies waiting for me when I pick up my mail tomorrow.

I emailed Shea Terra Organics for samples, but was told they didn't have any.  I did get the 30% off code though.  I used the code to purchase a foot scrub and foot cream.  Its almost sandal season and I need to be ready!

Just emailed MAC for samples.  I'm fairly certain MAC doesn't send out samples, but I figured it was worth the shot.

I emailed Dr Denese again and asked for a sample of the Dream Cream and they sent me a jar of it. I will post a pic tomorrow. They included samples of their serum. This is the third time they have sent me samples. I love their products! :-D

Oh okay, thanks!  For a minute there I thought I was posting in the wrong thread.
Yah I had started a thread and she moved it for me. I didn't realize there was a thread for this. This is definitely a great idea. I've already started emailing more companies! I love free samples! ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
