It took a month for me to get the Erno Lazlo samples, but it was totally worth the wait.  They sent like 5 or 6 nice sized samples with handwritten labels on them.
Same here. Nice samples, though, so it was worth the wait.

I received samples yesterday from Luckyscent.com.  It's a perfume shop in LA that has a great website.  Yes, they charge for their samples, but they have perfumes from all over the world from companies I've never heard of before and boy, do the samples I bought smell great.

The staff there really knows their stuff too.  I'm allergic to jasmine, lilies and freesia so it can be hard to find a perfume that doesn't have those ingredients.  They included 3 of the most beautiful perfume samples with my order.  (They won't send free samples on a sample only order...)  They also have a wonderful newsletter to which I've now subscribed  and they do have monthly sample packs available to purchase.

They had super fast shipping, and were a delight to do business with.  If you're looking for something completely different....this is it!
Are they about the size of Sephora samples, i.e., the spray vials?

I was very impressed with the samples, they sent a nice variety and everything was big enough to get several uses out of.

It was also nice of them to send me not one but two black soap samples, because I told them it was the product I was most interested to try.

Yes, about the size of Sephora samples.  The prices are a little steep....but the selection is amazing.  They have an email address if you're looking for recommendations for what you want.  [email protected]  I don't mind paying a little more if what I'm getting is totally unique and actually recommended in line with my unique profile.  (i.e. no white flowers in the perfume.)

For those of you who have received Mario Badescu samples, roughly how long did it take for you to receive your samples after ordering them?

The first time I did it, I didn't receive anything and I received the follow up email so I emailed them back and told them I never got it and they sent me out a replacement which I got in about two weeks and the one I didn't receive I got about a week later. The second time I did it which was about a month or two ago I got it within 2-3 weeks. If its been 4 weeks just send an email and they should send you another.

I received my Living Proof samples today. I emailed them on the 17th so that was really fast. They sent me the anti frizz shampoo, conditioner and styling cream. I thought that was really nice.

Thank you!  I just looked and it's only been a little over a week.  Time passes so slowly when you're expecting something in the mail.

Does anyone know of any companies that give out samples of their cosmetics other than Jane Iredale and Rain Cosmetics?

I know it does! Than you forget about it and it shows up! I hope you get it soon!

I received the Actifirm last week.  I started using it on Friday, and am in LOVE!  I had never even heard of Actifirm until people here mentioned it, and posted pictures.

I received samples from Sabon today.  I had emailed them about 2 weeks ago, and never heard anything, so I assumed they weren't sending me samples.  I didn't specify a particular product in my request.  I received deluxe samples of their Vanilla Shower Oil and their mud mask.  I haven't tried the mask yet, but the shower oil is heavenly!  I'm purchasing the full size this week. It smells so, so, so good!

Just emailed Juice Beauty and Living Proof.  Really interested in trying their products!

I use Living Proof products daily.  The only thing I don't like is the scent.  They all seem to smell the same, but the straight cream I have has a strong pepper scent in addition to the usual Living Proof scent. I prefer their products to the Oscar Blandi products I have - the Oscar Blandi volumizing mousse makes my hair tangle way easier.  That's really my only complaint though.  I prefer the Oscar Blandi scent to the Living Proof scent.  What Living Proof products are you most interested in trying?

I emailed a few companies this week for samples.  So far, VBeaute, REN and John Master's Organics all said they would send them.

I don't know too much about their products, but I saw a youtube video about the Full collection, which is what I really want to try.  I have super fine thin hair, and I could definitely use some volume.  Have you tried any products of those products?

I have most of the Full collection (I have minis of the entire collection, but have full sized products for everything but the conditioner and cream) and love it.  My hair has been seriously volume-deprived since I got a keratin treatment last summer.  When I wash my hair, I use the Full shampoo, my regular conditioner, and then a very small drop of the full shampoo on my roots (after I've rinsed out my conditioner, of course).  I use the mousse more than the cream.  Between the shampoo, mousse, and root boosting spray (those are the 3 products I use regularly), my hair looks sooooo much better.  I usually let my hair air dry, but I blow dried my hair last night after applying the mousse and root boosting spray and, oh my goodness, I feel like I just stepped out of the 60s or something.  I would definitely recommend the Full collection to anyone struggling with volume issues - the products are really easy to use and definitely work (for me, at least).  I do have naturally thick hair though, so you might experience different results.  I hope they help you!
