I never mention my blog when asking about samples. I just say a friend recommended their products or so and so mentioned it on YouTube. I tell them my hair and/or skin concerns depending on what kind of company they are, then I ask where I can purchase samples. I make sure my address is at the bottom of the e-mail. I put Assistance Choosing Products in the subject line. I just started e-mailing companies again on Sunday. Jouer - [email protected] no longer works. Macadamia - Got 6 assorted hair foils today. Sunday Riley - Got a crap-ton of assorted face foils and 3 spritzers of Juno Body Oil. Living Proof - No Reply. Neostrata - No Reply. Derm Organics - Replied saying expect samples in 3-5 days.

Is macadamia giving out samples, now? Or did you have to buy them? I was set to buy the sample pack, because someone said the shipping was free, but when I looked, it looked like they were going to charge me for shipping.

I emailed them last week and they sent them completely free! emailing them its the wait to go

I received samples from them yesterday!  6 nice sized foils that come in a cute little green bag.  Email them and they should send them to you!  I used one last night and I looooooved it.  They smell amazing, too!

I have samples coming from Living Proof and Juice Beauty next week!

 
I actually just emailed Dermorganics a question the other day about one of their products, and they didn't answer my question (which was a bummer), but offered to send me a sample of the product I had the question about. I got the mail today, and they sent me both the skincare sampler and the haircare sampler. I was really just trying to get my question answered and was not emailing them to get samples at all. I expected them to just send a small sample of the soapless facial cleanser (the item in question), but this is crazy. I'll have to do a write up on my blog about them.

Thanks, you guys. I wanted to get them in my Birchbox, but didn't. I went to Ulta and bought a foil pack for $6. I was like "ouch" and I haven't tried it yet. I sent them an email, today. Maybe I will be lucky, too. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I have to use the mobile site for MUT because the full site freezes and force closes too many times on my phone. I cannot see anyone's signatures or whatever it's called below their posts, so I don't see the links to their blogs, trade lists, etc. Anyone know how to make the signatures show up on the mobile site?

[/img]Whoa! I got the DermOrganic sample packs today. The SkinCare Sampler has 2 oz Soapless Facial Cleanser, 2 oz Hand & Body Moistue Lotion, and 1 oz Facial Moisturizer. The Try-Me Sampler has 2 oz Daily Conditioning Shampoo, 2 oz Intensive Hair Repair Masque, and a 5 ml/0.17 oz Leave-In Treatment. Awesome!
