If you have a spare second in your day, definitely give Boscia a call.  For $2.50 (shipping) I'm getting 6 samples...not too shabby I think.
Does anyone know if the samples are pretty big.

I would give all of these make-up companies the benefit of the doubt this week because so many of them have been involved in Fashion Week in various ways. I have a friend who works for a company that's only tangientially related to the fashion world, but because of the trickle-down effect, even she's been swamped and hasn't had a free moment all week.
Very true. When you don't live in New York I think you forget about that.

For all of you who have received samples from Jouer and corresponded with Whitney, Jouer just posted her pic on FB.  She's great and always so helpful.  It's fun to have a face to go with the emails.  And they've got a Whitney lipstick coming out in their Spring line.

I LOVE WHITNEY. She's my go-to gal.

I love trying this stuff out! Last night I tried the jurlique purifying mask they sent me. It was kind of dry and crumbly with big ole chunks of like herbs and stuff. Was kind of grossed out. It had a really strong smell and didn't cover evenly and was hard to smear on. But as I let it sit I got used to the smell and could feel it starting to work. Was a pain to get off but overall okay. Not my fav, not the worst. Also tried the exuviance natural beige base with spf they sent me. SUCKED! IT WASTERRIBLE! Not a good color, greasy, settled in my fine lines, made my pores look like craters, all around terrible! I showed my husband and he was like,,, eww what's wrong with your face? Always a bad sign! They sent me a few packs, so when I get home ill post the exact name of the product. The targeted filler from them felt nice tho.

Ditto! She was the one who sent me a bunch of samples early this year.

Off-topic because it's not really a sample, but I won one of those Lucky magazine contests! $100 gift card to Quiksilver.

Jane iredale sent me four of the round container thingys not too bad lol!
I absolutely love the BB cream. I'm going to order a full size when I'm almost out of the L'oreal youth code one. I normally sweat off my face makeup by the end of my day at work but I didn't today and it was warm day also.

I love being able to see that they do IN FACT have samples of The BB Cream, the Dream Tint and the Amazing Base that I asked about, after being told they don't offer any samples. Thanks a lot Martha! >:|   /end sarcasm.  Meh.
that's a bummer. How long ago did you put a request in? I sent a request not more than a week ago. Maybe it was the same for the other person who just posted pictures also. Maybe they have samples now. You should try emailing them again. Martha was the one who sent mine out or at least that was the name circled on the post card. I hope you can get some samples if you try emailing them again. Im keeping my fingers crossed for you.

I got an interesting mask sample from Sella (all natural company) in the mail today. It came in a little plastic container with a lid ( the kind you put ketchup in at a fast food resteraunt) hubby looked at it and thought it was spices. It was a powder and you mix it with water. Its a volcanic ash mud mask. I could make a fortune making up little containers with volcanic ash. I grew up in Washington and when mt. St Helens erupted everything was covered in ash. We had to shovel it like you would snow (just not as deep). My dad still has a bucket of the stuff at the house.

A few months ago, Birchbox gave an Atelier Cologne - Orange Sanguine.  I wasn't a BB member yet, but saw it in youtube unboxing videos.  Someone said this smelled just like a fresh-cut orange, and I've been searching for a perfume that smells like orange (WITHOUT CLOVE!) for years, and haven't found a good one.  Orange Sanguine is pretty expensive at Birchbox, but I signed up fully intending that if I liked it, I'd get at least the small bottle once I had some points to use.  I went to my Ulta and Sephora to see if I could find it to try, but no luck.  So several weeks ago I went to Atelier's website and sent an email, saying I'd heard of this scent but couldn't find anywhere to smell it - did they have samples?  I included my address and email address.  No reply.

Today I came in to find an envelope in my mail.  They sent samples of 8 of their scents, packaged with the pretty postcards!  In addition to Orange Sanguine, they sent Grand Néroli, Bois Blonds, Trèfle Pur, Ambre Nue, Rose Anonyme, Vetiver Fatal and Oolang Infini.  How great is that?!  =)

NICE!  The Orange Sanguine is amazing (I love that it's a slightly bitter and sophisticated orange scent, but I find that it tends to fade quickly.  Their store in NY is adorable.

Oh! how did you like Cure? I've been thinking about getting a bottle because of the great reviews, but the price hovers around $30 :-/ And for a product that sounds a little gimmicky I'm hesitant to spend that much. Though one time I saw it for $15 and now I can't seem to find the site again...
Just to update - I got the Cure samples from Beauty Carousel in Singapore on Wednesday, so it only took a week and a half.  There were four packets and an informative sheet.  My husband and I both tried it, and right away ordered a whole bottle.  I have rosacea, so my face is very red and I have to be gentle with any rubbing.  I really have a hard time with the gritty exfoliators, but get dry spots that make foundation look very patchy.  This was gentle, and my skin felt soft and makeup went on so nicely after!  I've also read some reviews from others with rosacea that said using it regularly helped the redness.  It's expensive, but since I already spend way too much trying to calm or cover the redness and combat the dry patchiness, I figured it's worth it.

Holy Cow - I've just smelled a few ('cause my nose gets overwhelmed easily) and I think I've fallen in love with the Trèfle Pur way more than the Orange Sanguine!  It's also available from Birchbox (YAY!), and the website says "Top Notes: Bitter Orange, cardamom, basilic; Heart notes: Clover absolute, violet leaves, Tuisian neroli".  But the website is making me wonder if it may be a men's fragrance (which wouldn't give me an issue, really).  http://www.ateliercologne.com/store/atelier-cologne/trefle-pur-cologne-absolue.html   MMMMmmmmmmm...  niiiiiice!

I put a request in on the 8th got a (negative)response on the 9th and responded back to them on the 10th letting her know my zip so at the very least they could tell me nearby retail locations for samples and haven't received any further response. Given this experience (while others contacted them around the same time and got positive responses) it doesn't really make me think its worth it to try again. I *might* try after a few weeks but due to the response I got I wouldn't hold me breath, and I'm doubtful it'd be worth the time spent. *sigh* I'll find better ways to use my time. oh well "que sera sera."

Ah! I might just have to look into getting some! I found it on this site for $34 shipped http://www.toyojapan.net/en/product/clear/index.html

I've read reviews that the company sends random samples with your order so that's neat. You pay through paypal so that makes it a little more secure to me.
