i got my Sabon sample which they actually sent a travel size of the foot cream. i liked this very much. christmas is going to find me stocking up on their bath products and hand lotions for sure! i also got my Shea Terra black soap! i was so happy to get that but they sent an essential oil that i dont really like with it. thats ok though. i just wanted the soap. i do have a question though. i was at sephora last night and purchased a Nars Soft touch shadow pencil in Magic Moon which i LOVE! anyway, its a mini and i paid $10 for it. i usually dont wear blue so i really didnt mind paying ten bucks for it, besides i thought it was really pretty and sometimes pretty wins out. when i got home i noticed on the package that it said sample. since when did sephora start selling samples? i liked this so much i want to go back and get the black one but i'm not sure i should pay ten dollars for another sample! what to do? do i call and ask about it?

For awhile. A lot of the benefit mini kits they sell on their website are actually GWP's. I ordered a couple and they said sample, not for sale on them. They were only like $12 so I didn't care, but a lot of people complain about it in the product reviews.
 
I contacted companies that I was only interested in sampling an actual product from - I wanted to try supergoop's SPF lip balm and at first the person told me to like their facebook page....to which I responded that I didn't have a facebook page (truth) and they got me two little sample sent over! It was nice.

 
Also - requested to sample the black hips soap thing from shea terra cuz i heard its amazeballs for your face. they emailed back & said they'd ship me a samply as long as I paid 2.95 for shipping.

 
have any of you guys that have been told recently by Gloss Moderne that They would send a sample received it yet? Also I was one of the lucky ones who scored a sample of the shu cleansing oil when they were doing the FB give away that has been a month or better and I have not received that sample . Has everyone else received theirs? I really really want to try the cleansing oil!

They did not even answer me the first time so a week later I did a follow up. They replied the same day saying I could get samples if i ordered. I was guessing they were tapped out on samples.

I haven't received the Gloss Moderne yet, but I'm sure it's on its way! I'm really excited to try it!

I've found that samples from Facebook and similar websites can take some time to arrive. I've received samples anywhere from 1 week to 2-3 months after signing up for it.

I haven't received my Gloss Moderne sample either but I did just receive my Jouer samples and they took 2 weeks to get to me so I'm just assuming that sometimes it takes awhile to get the sample out??? fingers crossed! :) 

 
earlier in this thread alot of us were requesting samples from whish while alot of us lucked out it ended up that they said they were working with BB for some type of sampling. has anyone seen any indication of this? I have been watching BC I really wanted to try that shaving cream!

The Natural Beauty Box is giving one of the Shea Terra butters this month.  Sending varied scents, and I'm SO hoping I get the gingered pumpkin!  If i don't, I'm gonna have to order some.  I simply must.  I just don't think there's any other option.

I had the same problem so I called and left a message on their vm.  They e-mailed the next day that they would send a sample, and it took well over a month.  A couple days later they sent out an e-mail that you can now purhcase samples on their website, because of that I didn't think they would still send anything.

 
Does anyone use Bloom.com here?

It's like a Sephora but online only.

I had $11.40 in Bloom dollars and bought the Stila lip glaze trio with the an additional SAVE25 code and paid $3.55 plus I got to choose 3 samples! Whoohoo! I had those dollars for almost a year and said my gosh I should use this.
