Ok ladies, have any of you ever had this to happen....I emailed a company asking if they had samples and they replied with of course which products would you be interested in! I tried to send my reply just by hitting the reply and kept getting that my message couldnt be delivered. I even went back without just hitting reply and retyped the email address in that I had originally used. It came back like 5 times. I even tried the next day with no luck! weird! Does anyone have a clue what could be going on there?

Sephora will give you samples of anything and as many as you want for FREEEEEE!!!  All you gotta do is ask and you can literally have any sample you want even eyeshadow, lipstick, shampoo, serums etc... anything!  But this is in store.  Which I think is better than online because online you only get a choice of so many and they may not apply to your needs but in store it's more personalized!  I LOVE that!

Unless you're one of us unlucky ones who lives hours and hours away from a Sephora. :'(

how do they make an eyeshadow sample? my only concern with sephora is that sometimes the testers look unsanitary.

That is exactly the reason why I only ask for samples of items that come in squeeze tubes - that way I feel a little better knowing that no one has stuck their fingers in the tester. I never ask for samples of items that come in tubs and just the idea of getting samples of any of their makeup gives me the heebie jeebies  because I've seen too many people use Sephora's testers like it's their own makeup  (I'll swatch the makeup on the back of my hand and that's usually good enough for me). At some bigger Sephora stores on weekends there will be brand reps inside the store handing out individually packaged samples. I've gotten samples from Boscia and Philosophy this way.

If any of you ladies lives near a Nordstrom, they are doing sample Saturdays. Each Saturday they give out a different sample and it's usually announced on their twitter or facebook which sample they will be giving out. This past Saturday is was a Shiseido sample.

NICE!!! Did you just see a person handing them out?

Yep! At my Nordstrom they're usually standing near the makeup area (which happens to be near a mall entrance). They're usually holding a bag of some sort which is filled with the samples that they're giving out. One week it was Hanae Mori perfume samples and another week it was NARS skin care samples.

YAY!  I just ordered my boscia samples over the phone.  They are sending out six!  You  have to pay $2.50 for shipping, but they also sent me $15 off of a $50 purchase so that's cool!  I really like boscia since I got to try it in my BB - the Oil-Free Nightly Hydration.

For those of you who ordered the box from Beauty Sage, they now have 4 more limited edition $5 boxes.  The Clear Skin is out of stock, but they also have Look Younger, Pampered Body, and Dry Skin.  The 5offsample promo code no longer works with them though so it's the $7.95 for shipping.

Got a sample from sweet minerals and it was a few little bags of their powder. Anyone else get some?
I got this as well.  Not sure that it will cover my face, but at least I can see what colors work best for me? Ha :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I have been reading this thread for some time but haven't posted anything, and today I wanted to share!

Kyoku for men has a free month of their subscription program available and my boyfriend received his today!

You get 7 FULL SIZED products and they ship very fast (maybe 3 days).

There is a link on their page that says "free stuff" and you go through and put your email in and make your password. Then it asks for your info, yes you do put your card info in, but that is only to keep it on file for the next box. If you want to continue with monthly boxes you can, but you don't have to. I called their customer service and asked a bunch of questions just to make sure it was completely free and legit (which it is!)

I am going to cancel the monthly subscription because this is so much product ($60 worth) and my boyfriend will not go through it in a month.
