It's from last year. Rouge could use it as a code in conjunction with the $20 reward card for the limited edition Sephora compact purchase online.

But playing with the codes like that, that's genius! Why didn't I ever think of that?

I do it whenever I can't find a promo code and often find discounts  :blush:  The trick is to use past codes as a jumping point and go from there.

Why isn't Sephora emailing all Rouges about the new Rouge codes? I still haven't received an email about RougeDior, or the Flowerbomb one posted yesterday. I think I may have received the AP one (a couple of weeks ago) but that brand doesn't interest me really.

Same here - I haven't received a promotional email from them since Sept 12th! Although I received my first SiJCP promo email last week!

I would agree with not getting Rouge only codes. I do receive emails promoting new products, or specific products, but in terms of getting emails with Rouge-only codes, I've only received 3 the whole time I've been Rouge. I didn't even know until recently that there were more codes that were out there, just not sent to me, so I'm wondering what Sephora's strategy is here. I would probably have purchased a lot more had I actually known about all the Rouge-only codes.

Also, I've just thought Rouge was a program where you occasionally got additional samples, but now it seems the codes are actually pretty regular. They just don't do a very good job promoting them.

I think they're doing it based on what you've ordered in the past. I only got Algenist and I order them a lot, and my email said "because you love Algenist" or similar.

I thought that too except I've actually spent A LOT of money on Dior this year and I didn't get the Dior code. I've never purchase Amore Pacific and I think they sent me that... but it might have been a different AP promo they sent because it was a few weeks ago..

Thank you for the dior code. I just ordered with it and received the email later with the code in it. It's weird that they don't send all the codes to all the rouge members.

more generally i don't plan on using the latest round of rouge codes so for those of you who want to use them but aren't rouge, feel free to get in touch.

They do their emails similar to Ulta... staggered timing, and certain offers to certain clients.  Usually they send more emails opposite of what the client typically buys, because they're trying to entice you to get hooked on the new stuff so you'll buy more later full size.
