Does anyone know when the VIB 20% off will start? I haven't been able to get my hands on a F&F so I'm waiting for the VIB one.

 
It was the around the 10th of November, I know because we went out of town for the Holiday and I spent a large part of the trip purchasing from Sephora  :blush:

*I mean who sits on an Island, in a great hotel, shopping online?!?

I'm kind of peeved at my Rouge benefits today. I want to place a rather large order using my friends and family code. The thing is, part is a gift for my mom so I want it shipped directly to her in another state. Online they only allow one shipping address. I called regular customer service and asked if they could help do it manually and they said no. I told them I'm rouge and they still said no. They literally told me there were no more codes available to split the order into two with two codes. Rouge line unfortunately was already closed when I was trying to deal with this. Hopefully I can call them today and they can do it. I'm ordering Over $400 worth of stuff - can they really not ship to two places for me (who is supposedly a top customer)? Crazy! I can gladly take this money to Nordstrom...

 
@@JenTX I called the Rouge line for assistance before and actually received worse customer service from the person on the phone.  Also, I had previously talked with her on the regular customer service line.  I'm not convinced they are any different - but i'd love to hear the follow-up!  I too would like to do a multi-ship order and can place a large order if needed to accommodate the split...I'm very interested to hear what they are able to do for you!

FYI - Ulta has their 20% off everything coupon out - just placed a, ahem, totally unnecessary but super satisfying order!! Cashed in my points too since it isn't a bonus point time (which I've learned is really the ONLY time that is good to cash in).

I'm saving my perfume order for Sephora though...I'm hoping their 20% off won't exclude perfume like Ulta does.  

And I'll just throw this out there - if any of you Sephora loyalists have an Ulta 20% coupon they won't be using...I'm sure by Nov 1st I'll find something I MUST have! LOL!  I'll even throw in a goodie bag of samples of your choice for you!

Just for fun...I have a migraine today and decided I wanted to see how my various Tarte blushes looked...all at once! LOL!  I've got Tarte Pin Up, the four from Away Oui Go, and buff, adored and inspired across my forehead! Hahahahaha! Oh and the lips have the three Too Faced lipsticks from the Under the Mistletoe gift set.

Sorry this is off topic, but if you cash in your points at Ulta, you don't earn points on the purchase made with points (If you use 1000 points for a $50 purchase, if its 10X or 3X points you won't earn the bonus points) If you're really interested, check out the Ulta discussion thread.  

Has anyone heard anything about the VIB sale yet? I'm dying here!!

 
Sephora sale promos have, as far as I know, no exclusions. I have successfully used them on makeup, perfume, skincare and tools over the years. only thing I haven't tried is hair care, but I couldn't see that being excluded. ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

@ yes!  leave a sick woman home alone and what do you expect??! I swear I only need my makeup and a good radio station and I can have my own little party every minute of everyday!

So I went to the mall yesterday late afternoon to exchange my bare minerals liquid foundation for the original powder formula and walked out with only spending $11 and brought home the super sized limited edition powder.

The liquid version kept rolling off my skin, no matter what primer I used.  Sad sad sad as I wanted to love it as much as the powder.

I walked out of the mall with a bonus too - a 20% off FF coupon from my friends at SiJCP! Not that anyone is keeping track, but I don't have good luck with in-store experiences except for this one location, and they are super sweet and always treat me with respect and like a valued customer.  The girl who gave me the coupon said she was saving one for me, that they only get a certain amount and she didn't give any to her friends or family, and I was (so far) her only customer she gave one to!  Wow. That certainly made me feel extra special.

Also, for those that do recall my first issue I posted about being made to feel so bad when I had some online returns back in (I think) July or August...at my first SiJCP that I loved...I got a bit of redemption yesterday too. A girl from the other store (where I had the issue) transferred in to my new favorite SiJCP, and she remembered me!  She confirmed with my new friends that yes, the issue was exactly as I stated and she also told me that the girl got in serious trouble for it.  I said I didn't complain though (I vented online and eventually mentioned the situation in a survey but I didn't immediately complain about her that I recall anyway).  And the girl said yeah but apparently the other girl who was there at the time was just as mad at her as I was, and she got her in trouble.  I had no idea.  She said it was also kind of ongoing since as a result I never went back....my absence was apparently noted.  The girl yesterday was really cute though she said "I remember you!!  You always spend a ton of money right??"  :blush:  Well better that association than "I remember you, you're that b!tch who returns stuff!!"

Soooo, my shopping cart is ever growing and I'll prob work on it until 11:59 PT on the 29th! LOL! SOMEBODY STOP ME! LOL!!!

Just to update - they did absolutely nothing for me. I just placed one order and I will ship the stuff to my mom or wait til Thanksgiving when I'll see her again. Seriously lame that they couldnt do this for me. I've spent around $2500 at Sephora this year and really kind of feel like I would have been better off spending it at Nords for GWPs (and I notice their site has 10% off on cosmetics all the time). :-(
