Hey ladies! I just came from the sephora in times square and the girl that checked me out told me about the event on the 30th and she said we'll be getting double points during that day! She also said we wont be getting an email about it until about a week before the event but she seemed really excited about it and said that in their store they'll also do raffles.

 
I've heard rumors of an event on the 30th too, as a kickoff to chic week, with rouge getting the discount early, and apparently MAYBE a few hours of exclusive shopping before the store opens. While I'm excited rouge might FINALLY get something, I'm kind of mad they're only giving people a week's notice. Well better than nothing I guess.

 
Hey y'all!  I just wanted to post an updated link to the live chat that Sephora posted yesterday. http://community.sephora.com/t5/VIB-ROUGE/Live-VIB-Rouge-Chat-with-Sephora/m-p/1268278 Additionally it looks like the time of the chat was modified to be 11:30AM - 1:00PM PST and not EST as originally thought. Hopefully we'll have lots of participation during the lunch hour.

I left for a few minutes and now I can't keep up. This really should have been done on an actual chat program instead of a forum.

Yeah this is going to devolve pretty quickly in the last hour.  Everyone is very unhappy and we keep getting PR responses. I'm sticking it out though.  I want to read everything that's posted.

 
It's basically more of the same "wait and see! It's going to get better!" That they've been spewing since it launched. I posted a few times but I'm out. I'll just read it when it's over.

 
What a waste of time going to that chat! Didn't answer hardly anything. So much for chatting and solving any problems!

 
I haven't really shopped anywhere else but Sephora and Ulta.  I've heard good things about Nordstrom though.  Has anyone here been dazzled by them?

 
That "chat" was a waste of time. I was thinking that Sephora would make real changes for Rouge and give people hope that the program will be improved. I think it just showed that they don't care about or understand their customers' concerns. And the format of the chat was stupid. There should have been way more people answering the questions instead of one person and I wish it was more "interactive".

 
Well, that was a waste of time. I have been hoping that there would be answers better than "it's in the works" since they have been saying that for months. The point perks have been lacking, especially the 500-point ones. Although there are still a few items I pick up at Sephora due to convenience, I have been trying to move my business elsewhere.

Nordstrom will have a point event starting tomorrow, and I'll be picking up items there instead of Sephora. While I know I haven't spent all that much there, I somehow accumulate $20 certificates quite fast. Customer service is always stellar and whenever there is a problem, it's fixed immediately. If there's an item I don't see online anymore, they always do a search in their physical stores for me and then have it mailed to me. (Ex. I was looking for a Laura Mercier gift set that was ON SALE online, CS found it in a store, had it mailed it to me, and they threw in a free full size Lip Glace for me just to try because she loved it)

I LOVE Nordstrom! Their CS is awesome! A face powder I ordered was damaged in shipping and they sent me a new one via expedited shipping. I didn't have to return the broken powder. Their shipping is fast (but I live near their shipping center). I usually just buy MAC there but I might start buying other brands there too.

Their triple points days are March 19 (I think?) - 23 for those who have a Nordstrom card.

 
Yeah that was a disaster. I can not believe it was basically 90 minutes of them saying "but you get free shipping and free makeovers from our staff! That's exciting!" And "if you're not getting emails it's because you need to check your settings!" Unbelievable. There's nothing I buy at sephora that I can't get at ulta or nordstrom. I'll shop chic week for the discount, but I'm over it. Time to vote with my dollars!

I agree.  I will shop only for certain essentials during Chic Week.  I created my Chic Week shopping list through the "Loves" section of my profile.  Prior to today I was ready to spend $500-$600 on all the cool things that had caught my eye.  Not anymore though.  I'll definitely be checking out Nordstrom.  Thanks to everyone who answered me so quickly.

 
I would really like to see what this super secret VIB Rouge chic week event will be or if it's just another ploy for people to spend money to get a "complimentary" gift.

When we started building the program, we surveyed our clients and the #1 benefit clients asked for was free shipping.

In regards to the shipping issue, some Rouge clients had their orders accidentally flagged by our fraud department. It was a system error has been fixed with our IT department. If you are experiencing challenges, please call the Rouge concierge immediately for resolution.

Thank you for your feedback related to the Beauty Studio. We continue to invest in education and programs for our stores and we always strive to be better. We'll make sure to pass this feedback on to the right team.

I'm going to keep reading through and will post other things that might be interesting to us.

I heard that Rouge members get a free tote and there will be a special time on March 30th when only Rouge members can shop. Totally not worth it to me.
