She was very unclear about whether she meant a new welcome kit or an actual gift and when I asked her to clarify she was very unhelpful... so I guess I'll be going back soon and asking a different SA about it. I just want my shiny new card

Anyway, I finally registered for makeuptalk because I found this thread while looking for past VIBR gifts. I haven't read the entire thread, just the past couple of pages, but I can't find anything on google or here about any actual gifts having been sent out apart from the sample lipstick with the welcome kit--has there really been nothing else or am I just not finding it? I'm excited about free shipping and I shop at Sephora as opposed to Ulta or elsewhere primarily because of the point perks, so it's not like VIBR wasn't worth it for me but it seems kind of disappointing with how much I was looking forward to it when it was first launched. I have school and a job so I don't have much free time and probably will not be able to go to any events I may get invited to and I'm not a huge fan of other people touching my face so I don't think I'll be taking advantage of either of those perks; I'm sure they're great for other people, though.

I'm just wondering if I should expect anything other than free shipping?
The only perk is the free shipping no extra gifts ... They ran out of the welcome kit too when I hit vibr  and I found that upsetting.  So far and I have been VIBR for about  4 months nothing different has happened.  They also have mentioned nothing new happening. I think in Dec they will have another 20 percent off sale. VIBR  gifts    LOL    there are none... sadly  the people who  have flash get faster shipping too.

Aw man, what a disappointment. It sounded so exciting. I didn't get an invite to flash so that part doesn't matter too much to me but it is kind of frustrating. Maybe they'll send out a Christmas gift...? A girl can dream

That's what we are all hoping for something extra for the holidays :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

It really is in their best interest to do something more for VIBR right now because without that, there's not really any incentive to spendspendspend next year, but I doubt anyone is really thinking this through. Oh, well. My local comic book writers will be more than happy to take the money I would otherwise spend at Sephora next year, and I'll get to actually *talk* to them and get my stuff signed.

Don't get your hopes up. They sent out full-size lipsticks (MUFE, YSL, etc) and skincare to a select few, and it's speculated that these were customers who had spent $5,000-10,000. It made a lot of customers who were excluded upset.

This is exactly why I decided to do my finale order to meet VIBR online and get my welcome kit that way. The store around me always acts so weird about giving out my VIB package and I didn't want to wait for my Rouge one. I wanted to avoid any confusion or frustration on my part and just get the package! LOL

I just looked at my purchase history and added it up.

Thanks! I tried doing that, but the online purchase history doesn't show in-store or SiJCP purchases, or returns, no?

Mine shows in store, not sure about SiJCP or returns though.

There's two lists, one for online orders and one that just says purchases. Purchases is any online or in store sephora order, but I don't think it includes JC Penney purchases.

So my "Orders" section only shows online orders:

(i know...too many orders during BLITZ and VIBTOPIA)

and the purchase history only lists by item - but if I bought an item twice, during the year, it only showed up once. And items I returned are still listed...

I guess the inner-accountant in me just wants to reconcile the point history and maybe the consumer behaviorist in me wants to diagnose my beauty over-spending addiction

my purchase history shows JCP purchases.

Isn't life all about maximizing utility though? :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> FWIW, my SiJCP purchases have never ever shown up.

The main store I shop at is my JCP store and they show up online. Sometimes it takes a few days, but they show up for me eventually and count toward VIB/Rouge.

My JCP purchases show up only if the item is sold through the regular sephora/online. Whenever I get something exclusive to SiJCP it doesn't show up.

The pop-psychologist in me has been conducting steady self-analysis as well.

I'll talk to people and say with a very even face that I'm VIB Rouge but at times I'll feign self-conciousness by whispering that I'm a VIB-Rouge, with eye-brows slightly raised, looking upward and lips turned down in a show of faux-embarassement.

I need help!  Naw....  I need to buy BVLGARI Mon Jasmin Noir L'Eau Exquise Travel Spray ($25) and get the FRESH Sugar Lemon Eau De Parfum deluxe sample for free with it.

Rouge was such a great idea, and I was so excited to join! I was especially excited for the supposed "invitation to special events" part - since I live in the city where Sephora is headquartered I expected some events for sure....but nope. Also expected the promised "surprises"... also nope. In fact, exactly nothing has happened in the months I've been a VIB Rouge except the welcome kit and the free shipping. I'm getting the impression that's all it's going to be for most of us, which is disappointing based on what we were promised. Here's hoping we hear something more during the upcoming holidays!

I live in the nyc metro area and have not been invited to a single even .. nor have I got a single extra sample ... they ran out of the welcome  kit when I needed one.I don't  know how they can get away with what they advertise its totally false... still hoping for something to happen.. Its been 6  months with nothing

I live near DC, and I was hoping to be invited to an event. Nothing. Never even get an extra sample, despite the fact that I've spent nearly $3,000 this year.

I live in NYC and I've been invited to a Rise and Rouge this fall.  I do 95% of my shopping online (due to a multi-level disk issues, I can't bear weight beyond 3 pounds).  Maybe the marketing psychology is related to that?

I've gottena a free sample here and there (about 20% of the time, 1 free)  but I've also have had them give me just 1 sample and no substitutes.

I think the VIB-R program grew faster then they anticipated.

I think I've been invited to two Rouge events. I wanted to go to the Marc Jacobs meet and greet, but spaces filled up in about 5 minutes. The Rise and Rouge was somewhere midtown and it wasn't worth the trek to me. Still, if that's all they've got where extra perks are concerned (excluding makeovers and free shipping), for $1K in a calendar year, Rouge is pretty pathetic.
