Perhaps I'm just super jaded, but I think that's counting on too much. I could see them offering special deals, additional discounts, and extra samples, but I doubt they'd send Christmas kits. On that note, I know I wouldn't be that thrilled with leftover items that they're trying to get rid of being sent as a gift.
Yea I would not be thrilled with stuff they are trying to get rid of. I am not expecting much from them. I am SO disappointed with the VIBR. I am hoping that they do something extra for the holidays but not counting on it. With all the hype and then crappy customer service and only specific people getting things I think for 2014 unless blown away Rouge is not what I will be when it expires. Sad really.

I got two orders in the mail today and apparently my "extra" sample was the formula X brochure!!  OH BOY!!! Thanks sephora for making my hopes of extra samples with my orders not happen.

Like a lot of other people have been posting, I'm disappointed that VIB Rouge perks seem to be mostly event invitations instead of samples/gifts with purchase. Several of my friends who live in NYC get invited to Sephora events, but I guess Houston doesn't have much going on. Plus, I travel too often for work to count on making it to these events. Kind of a bummer :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I'm also so sad that I missed out on the VIB skincare bag! I was on a trip and saw it on my phone, but figured I had some time to get home and buy it. No such luck, it sold out ridiculously fast! I really wish that had been a Rouge promotion or they could have set some aside for Rouge members?

On the bright side, the holidays are coming up and I'm anticipating a nice perk. Maybe a bigger gift certificate than the regular VIB $20? I also did appreciate the x4 points we got. Good things come to those who wait; I'm expecting it to pick up in 2014!

I've had issues with their customer service too. I think enough people have been voicing their problems with VIBR that they'll have something planned for the holidays. They have that sale coming up in late November/early December and maybe they'll do something cool for us then?

Random thought: wouldn't it be nice if we got to shop the Black Friday deals beforehand? That would be pretty awesome...though I doubt it will happen. But a girl can dream!

 
I'd sure appreciate if Rogue members got to be part of the early F&F sale dedicated to staff and their friends, in addition to the one they have closer to the holidays...

Well, I've been stalking this thread since I know I'll hit it soon... not that I bought it all, my friends did, so no guilt here xDD

Anyway, it's been rumored that VIBR will get 25% off (compared to 15 and 20 for BI and VIB respectively).

I'm only $48 away now! I feel like it'd be silly just to buy something to get an extra 5% off though, so I probably won't make it until after VIB week. Question - I just got a $100 Sephora gift card from my credit card rewards program that I plan to use for Christmas gifts during VIB week. That $100 counts towards Rouge, right?

 
All previous purchases I have made with a gift card have given me the points when I made a purchase with them. I know when I buy gift cards I don't get credit for them because the person getting the card will get the points.

i have NEVER gotten an extra sample when i order. the people at one location know me and treat me really well but no one does anywhere else.

i don't see a single difference in being vib rouge vs vib. i'm hoping the sales will be epic for vib rouge or i'll never strive for it.

the truth is that sephora doesn't get better because it doesn't have to be. i enjoy their exclusive sets, store, and brands much better than that of ulta, and there are no other competitors... most individual brands have very few stores and weaker/non existent loyalty programs. they don't even treat most high paying customers well (most VIBR will never see a free prestige brand lipstick or event with $10 discount) and as much as it makes me angry, i still drop money there because i love the products. it's just frustrating because they claim to have great customer service and rewards but they don't. i wouldn't be upset if it wasn't so loudly claimed that the VIB/VIBR programs would rock.

I find that they usually pop an extra sample in for me when I am NOT ordering a low value product like the $1 nail polish...  which I have just about each color of now.

They really should have given more thought to VIBR before releasing it.  They seem to only be paying attention to the first 3 letters...

I never get an extra sample and I got faster delivery before VIBR lets hope they do something for us at some point.

 
I am terrible. I'm Rouge and yes, I spend $25 on orders and get the extra samples. I figure if I spend as much as I do (I can nearly hit rouge twice over) I deserve the extra samples and then some. I did get a free gift once that they sent me to review. It was a set of the holographic brushes, but considering how much I spend it would be nice to get even more. I cant wait until the holidays and they send me all the discounts and gifts!! Oh, a few years ago  I came less than $20 away from VIB and the rep I spoke do did not say anything to me two days before the end of the year while I was placing a huge order, so make sure you ask when you call, you might be so close it makes no sense not to spend the extra $$. That turned me off, but I've been shopping at Sephora for over 14yrs so I'm officially hooked!

 
I usually order at least $25 to get a code sample. Maybe they were just forgetting them for a while. Did anyone else get the Rouge mailing about Formula X? I was so excited thinking maybe I'd get something cool for free, but it was just an ad. Bummer.

 
I got the X mailer and was super disappointed too! It does not seem like they are doing much for us, does it? Considering what we spend it feels like they should be doing more. JMO
