I feel so bad for the sales people when they have to promote JCP benefits that don't actually work in their store's area. It sucks that JCP coupons don't work at SiJCP, even when the coupon is a result of taking a survey from a [edit: JCP] Sephora purchase.

Seriously, JCP/Sephora, when you do that, you're just throwing the cashiers under the bus when the time comes. When I went to get my skincare pick-5 thingy, I asked about a 10% off coupon I had that didn't specifically exclude Sephora purchases, and the poor cashier instinctively cringed a little bit. I hate to think about the crap she must get.

I didn't know SiJCP employees don't get perks for having their names mentioned in surveys, etc. AWFUL! If I do one of those again, I'll complain on their behalf.

It was awful, having to get the credit card numbers but offering no benefits. So lame.

Thankfully I always told people that I loved my JCP card because if I spent $ on makeup with it, I get 10 dollars every 100 to spend on clothes! So I didn't have to choose lmao.

People went for it! And it's totally true, I would get my rewards and buy clothes with it.

It is so stupid to get surveys, they nag us if we don't get them, but when we do we just get a thank you (sometimes). It doesn't help us at all. It helps the JCP store. :/ 

I was so jealous one time a girl at freestanding told me it's directly related to their bonus, so they get tons of extra money. I wanted to cry lmao..

Now that I know this, I will do more of the surveys for the one girl out in Roseville who is always so helpful.  I gave her a Christmas present too - just her out of that whole store.  I gave all employees at the SiJCP store that I frequent the most, and I do surveys for them kind of regularly, but had no idea it didn't matter as much as if you worked at a stand alone.  I will keep this in mind - THANK YOU!

Also - feel free to post how I can help my SiJCP staff.  They really are a fantastic group of young ladies.  I will help them in anyway I can...oh wait...that is if I don't fully break up with Sephora LOLOL!

NEWBEAUTY for 2/10 minis they have.

I picked the Tarte timeless smoothing primer (been dying to try this)

and Dr. Jart micro water (no idea what this is, but looks cool lol)

I got my Marsala liner I wanted and Tarte came back with their 12 dollar special for the eye cream and oil. I love that eye cream,so it works out :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I say keep taking surveys for them, their manager might take it into consideration to give that specific employee more hours (mine did that sometimes with some girls).

weird I just got an email that sephora cancelled my order for "my own security" wth..

has this happened to anyone placing a regular order? 

It's over 30 bucks and I'm Rouge.. O-o

edit: I called them because I was pissed, also my SIJCP skincare bags didn't show up as points or double points, or in my purchases, and they deducted 100 points from the FAB cream I picked. They said I reached my limit for points and I can't  have anymore??? o_O

Has this happened to anyone else??

all they could do is place the order for me again.. wth..

which I told her not to, because I wanted to place the order with mr rebates, and she did it anyway, I just got an order confirmation from them... o_O

Sooo because you have "too many points" they won't let you order online? Am I reading that right?! If this is a response to their own glitch of giving free points I will be annoyed. I tried placing a small order a few days ago and it was cancelled "for my protection" -- I thought it was because it was a $1 order but if it's because I have "too many points" I'm going to be mad!

That's absolutely ridiculous. It's not your fault they can't put out any decent points rewards to save their lives... And I mean... It's points you earned for spending massive amounts of money with them, what the heck are they smoking? They probably set some sort of points maximum because the system required it but they should be updating it, not cutting you off. It's like when psy's gangnam style video broke YouTube's view counter. They didn't just let it stop working, they fixed it.

Assuming you have less than 10k points, obviously the "points limit" is new because last year they had a 10,000 point reward (a vacation or something).
I have over 10k, but it didn't stop at 10k, I still get points if I make a purchase.. so why would I have "too many" wth..

Sorry, but this has never happened to me!  Sorry!! I know a lot of people (including myself) have been disappointed in the products they offer for 100, 250, and 500 point perks, so I hardly ever spend point anymore...its their own fault for not providing us with perks that we like or think are "worth it"

I remember some time ago with one of the other point promos, the additional points were added after the promotion was over. I used to keep a spreadsheet just to make sure my points were correct and it did eventually get added. But I also remember, that it was in the fine print when the points would be added, so everyone knew.

Where did you get all your points? Were some from the glitch from the fragrance bonus?
I'm wondering if that's why your order was auto canceled... And the CSR on the phone was just making up reasons for why they couldn't give you more points (I know a LOT if SA's make stuff up when they're asked a question).

Not judging, just wondering. I would have hoarded some points too if i knew about it. If not, then just disregard my hypothesis.

I also got the tarte.. I was very curious. I don't like the scent but the gloss is interesting.

Yeah once Texas finally switched over to the Ulta points = $ system (instead of the "spend $$$ and pick a single free item from the tier of the amount you spent these past 3 months!") I took a lot of my spending over there. I found it wayyyy easier to hit platinum than VIB since they sell a bunch of drugstore and hair stuff too, and run way more promos than Sephora. Both companies are inconsistent, but for me it's easier to cut ulta more slack than sephora just because their incentives are better.

About 4.5 k is my own money, I used to work for Sephora so I had employee discount,... I bought my gifts for people there. About 1k is people that gave me money to buy them things while I worked there, and the rest is that point glitch and fragrance bonus, and rouge bonus 4x points.. 

I mean I've had my points since like October, so... idk why they would act all weird now, I order all the time and it's always to me myself and I in my address lmao.. 

This year it's different, I don't work for them anymore, and I've only spent about 50 bucks there so... they best not be playing with me :eek: /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

 
Strange, after the reports of the FAB cream taking 100 pts away when getting it in the 5 skin sample bag, I checked my purchases and found that my purchase history indicates that I was charged 100 points for it as well, but when I check the purchase history against my points history, the points history shows no points deducted for that purchase...
