Some of the points posted, but they're not correct.  AND I'm really ticked b/c I got 'charged' 100 points for something.  GRRRR!  I did NOT redeem for anything!  And if you tell me that sampler baggie w/ foils is worth 100 points I'm going to take it RIGHT back.
That happened to me before when I bought a SiJCP pick your own skincare set where one of the items (Josie Maran Argan Oil?) had previously been a 100-point perk. When they scanned the samples, it deducted 100 points. I gave customer service a call and they credited the points back.

Yeaaaaaaah!

Bought my sijcp set. They were just putting it out when I got there, and I was all over it. They didn't let me double up on anything, in case anyone wondered.

- Algenist genius cream

- peter Thomas Roth retinol pm

- Josie Maran moisturizer

- Ole Heinrikson truth serum

- Glamglow thirstymud

... Was going to get the 2 oz purity instead if the glamglow (blasphemy, I know) but my store had a 1 oz purity as a 100 pt perk, so I got that instead :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Edit: wasn't going to go today because mall + Saturday is busy, but I remembered to call and they had it! Went in my blue Rx occ lip tar that I had been testing ... got a few odd looks in the parking lot, but once I was in the sephora area, suddenly black lipstick! Dark burgundy! Red eye shadow! And I was among my people again.

I think I need to go check out SIJCP tomorrow.

I'm glad I did. I added up value, (which meant calculating fractions of the smallest available sizes) and it was around $100. Now, I know some of these can be like samples/point perks/promos, but it would have been extremely pricy to do it that way. $29 is quite nice instead, and this is gonna last me a while!

I got my SiJCP skincare bag! I returned a gift and used that credit toward the Skincare bag. I got 4 glam glow thirsty Muds (2 oz. what what what) and one Purity (lost my travel size) for $7 out of pocket. HOLLLLLLAAAA.

I'm also super annoyed - my SiJCP also has a bunch of Christmas sets on sale - $22 for 6 OCC pencil set, $29 for the $59 sephora favorites, some random benefit ones I can't remember... So mad I paid full price on that OCC set!

I have a full size PTR retinol fusion and haven't used much of it, so that is why I didn't get that one, and I was originally all over glamglow, but I break out too much WITH it so I'm better treating my excess oil (sebum) by NOT treating it, if that makes sense.

Didn't do Purity for Philosophy reasons, and not a fan of most of the other items so for me it was easy.  Oh and I have a few of the Shiseido retinol eye patches so didn't need more of those.  Which is so funny to type considering the amount of sample Algenist I have!  LOL!

I might go do two more bag sets though and get a couple more Ole Henriksen's vita c boost and then some of the glamglow so I can do a good deep cleanse from all my holiday bad eating build up.  (when I eat bad, my skin gets very bad)  Plus I can get some for my son to send in his care package once he is in Afghanistan.  His skin doesn't do well on deployment!  I got him a Kiehl's set and a Ole Henriksen set for Christmas for his deployment too!  Poor kid, he's not gonna wanna face time me since I'm implying he will look all acne'd up while away hahaha!

Funny, about the points credit, I have never had an issue with any of my purchases not getting credited to my account.  Granted, I stopped looking a LONG time ago.  Ok so that would be like August of last year, but still! I mean I look if I want to see something specific, but have never noticed a significant absence of points and I shop mostly online or at SiJCP.  Hard to believe I may one of the lucky ones with that! HA!

I stopped by my SiJCP yesterday and also grabbed the skincare bag with:

2 of the PTR Retinol Fusion

Algenist Genius cream

GlamGlow ThirstyMud

GlamGlow PowerMud

My store allowed multiples so I got the last two PTR. Tried it for the first time last night, it made my skin feel real smooth, but only time will tell! I always really enjoy the pick-your-own skincare bags SiJCP offers!

Just went to SIJCP. Didn't end up buying the skincare bag because it was mostly sold out already. :-(

Also went to a regular Sephora. Bough some Dior Capture Totale serum since they still had some and its discontinued and I like it. My purchase hasn't showed up online yet. I thought it's usually pretty instant? It's been a couple hours since I purchased.

Friday night it took mine about 4 hours to show.  And then they were wrong.  (This was at a SiJCP.)

Hmmmm I will give it a few hours then.

I wanted some other stuff but figured I'd order online sometime by the end of the 2x points promo...

Is the serum still up in the site? I'm on my phone and too lazy to switch tabs to google /first world problem. Maybe it's not showing because the item page is already gone? If your points don't at least update you may have to contact them over it.

It's been off the site for a month or so. Hopefully the points show up. If they don't come in the next few hours I will call.

My JCP order only partially showed up in my beauty bag. I didn't gat my double points, but they also didn't subtract the points I spent on a perk. Hmm.

I really need to break up with Sephora...here's what I posted on their FB page just now.  I'll cross post to the VIB thread too...seriously.  I need a new love.

I went to Sephora inside JCPenney, with my mailer, and picked up the skin care sample bag. Thank you! The ladies at Arden Fair SiJCP are always so polite, professional and cheerful! They are a joy to be around and their manager, Maria, the best I've seen in retail. KUDOS to that location and staff! Unfortunately, they didn't have a perfume I wanted to sample so I had to go the main Sephora store In the same mall. I remembered seeing the Fresh Soy Facial Cleanser sample offer, and asked about it but I was told very rudely that they do not offer samples in store. Ever. When I asked if they had any gifts with purchase I was told they never do that either. Ever. Then I was told I could go online if I wanted samples, because that is the only way I'd get them. Sephora your customer service is tiring. I try so hard to appreciate the deals, the corrections you make etc. but the overall rudeness of your staff is just appalling. My comment has nothing to do with samples, free or otherwise, but about the attitude of your employees. Anymore, the customer is wrong, or the reason for the issue, or however put, we are the ones to feel as if we have done something to deserve to be treated poorly. I know this won't change, I've been bringing your poor customer service to your attention since I started shopping with you last May. I have taken most of my shopping elsewhere because of it (though I do shop with you if there is a good sale or promotion of something I want to try). I just wanted to again let you know that if you are ever going to address your poor service issues, well, this location certainly could use a refresher course in courtesy.

I would venture to guess that Sephora has less control over the SIJCP employees, because they are probably technically JCP employees, not Sephora employees. Can someone confirm accuracy there? Perhaps @@v0ltagekid?

@@JenTX yeah but the SiJCP employees were the super nice ones LOL!

Did anyone else notice double FB post of two skin care bags?  One is 11 samples if you spend $35 online, the other is 12 samples if you spend $25 online!  Same code REFRESHER for both...My SiCJP bag had 6 samples and was free with mailer, no purchase necessary.

ETA:  I realized it was because they posted both the USA skin care bag promo and the Canada promo.  I confuse easily! LOL!

Sephora does set the guidelines at the store, like how the merchandise should be displayed, what we should wear, how we should act, they send us training videos on how to sell and they train our beauty educators, that train us. So we do get paid by JCP, but technically we get trained and follow Sephora's standards and guidelines.

Our jobs are a little different than the girls at freestanding, because we have to follow some of JCPs standards too, for example we are responsible for getting (at least when I worked there) at least 8 credit card applications per month, even if we were in our little "black tile" the pressure to get people to sign up for JCP Credit was the same. That was annoying bc the 20% does not apply in sephora so people would get mad :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Or we would need to get clients to take surveys for us, but that would benefit the store, not us. In freestanding it helps their bonus :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> (so jelly about this)

So I say they definitely have control over us, if anything we are double screwed bc we respond to both JCP and Sephora lol...
