has anybody tried returning an item from an order that was placed using the $25 sephora gift card? i ordered a $24 item, and a $26 item, and want to return the $26 item. (order total is $50, then used a $25 sephora gift card, and paid $25 out of pocket, not including taxes) i'm wondering if i'll get money back, even just $25? thanks!!!

I have a confession ladies... 

I'm officially over the half way mark to re-rouging for next year.  *hangs head in shame*

I don't even know how it happened.. I don't feel I've bought all that much so far.  I did just buy the silk'n flash n go hair laser thing though, so that ate up 200 of that running tally.. but still.  It is only mid January for cryin' out loud!  At least last year I didn't re-rouge until like March.  

Has Sephora even announced what the "reward" is for re-rouging this year yet?  I hope it is something good.  

All you ladies so set on not making rouge again, I commend you.. I apparently have NO willpower..what.so.ever.  

Oh, and does anybody know when Nars was supposed to release the new eyeshadow palette with the dual intensity formula?  I think I'm going to need that in my hands, lol.

I just tested it on mobile, it's also only letting me pick one. There must be a problem with how they programmed the code.

I want one of those Hourglass eyeshadow palettes but I have a brand new Naked Basics 2 that I have not even opened! I was trying to justify it by returning the NB2 but I need the matte shades /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I think I will just wait until I see them in person to choose one. I was good and passed over the big Laura Mercier holiday set that was half off at Nordstrom while on vacation.

You can switch to desktop on your phone, I just tested that and it worked. The pop up with the choices comes up all zoomed in, but if you double tap it it'll zoom out and show all the options /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> just in case if you're worried that something you want will be OOS by the time you get home

I got the $25 back in store credit (which I wasn't expecting, so it was a nice surprise). Mine was an online order, though, and I returned the full order (one item). Might depend on the store, because I read the policy was that you wouldn't get the gift card amount back. Good luck!

Yay! Glad it worked!! It's probably because websites always try to force you to use the mobile version and hide their desktop button at the very bottom of the page or deep in the settings and you have to navigate through 8 different links to find it. I have the opposite problem with MUT sometimes though lol, I'll switch to desktop accidentally or something and it always takes me forever to figure out how to get back to mobile!

i returned that order unused to store, one was a ysl lippie that was def old and off and the entire credit went back to my card that i paid the difference with - i fully expected to lose the gift card part but sephora lied!

They probably have no way of determining whether you used the discount or an actual gift card if you did it online. I'm not sure how a normal in-store receipt would look - I made my purchase in a store but it was a mess (started from a problem on my end, it wasn't their fault) and they ended up having to have the manager do a manual price readjustment so the receipt I had looked hilarious lmao

For the sephora holiday gc's, I think if you made your purchase in store you'll lose the GC. At least that was how it was 3 or 4 years ago. The receipt would list retail price and price you paid (after discount).

I've been using mine online since.

So, my continued attempts at a low-buy remain unsuccessful. With Sephora's 2x points on skincare I was finally enabled into the Foreo Luna Mini. h34r: /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />  I've been wanting one for a hot minute now, but if any of you lovely ladies have any feedback on the Foreo, I'd be more than happy to hear! About the only thing keeping me from a panic attack is remembering I can return if I don't like it...

I also picked up the REN cleansing water, which I really like, and the Perricone, MD ChloroPlasma mask. The whole pricing on some of these sizes is really messed up, but whatevs, I thought $16 for .5 oz (even though Sephora says .4 oz) was a good deal compared to $75 for 2 oz. Even I can do that math.

Can you ladies recommend a good oil based eye makeup remover at Sephora, so I can jump on the skin care points?

I like Dermalogica pre cleanse or DHC Deep cleansing oil to remove my eyeliner and mascara, so something along those lines, with olive/jojoba or almond oils.  I see Birchbox has one in their shop but it's out of stock at the moment.   /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
