I never even knew that cards existed until this year. The SA would always just ask me for my name. But some time this Summer I stopped in and the girl working told me she couldn't look me up and I HAD to have a card. Which isn't true, but she gave me a card. /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> Haven't had to use it since, but it looks pretty in my wallet!

Lmao how did she even manage to find you if she couldn't look you up? I would probably stare in confusion if I were told that. I mean, we're all gonna have days where we left it at home in another wallet or purse... I have my barcode in my phone's passbook but sometimes it doesn't work so they ask for my phone number. Sometimes that doesn't work either so they'll look me up via email. And then SiJCP has to look me up via email every time because they can't actually scan any cards, physical or electronic.

I hate those visa cards. They require too much talking to the cashier. $50 on this and the rest on this or you end up with some weird amount if you don't spend it all 12.72 on this...

I had 3$ and change left on a Target Visa gift card after I bought two black friday sets from Sephora and a discounted PopSugar box.  I totally did the split payment next time I was at the store, lol.  The cashier gave me this face like, seriously?  you're gonna scan a 3$ card?.... Hell yeah!  Money is money, yo!

I hate this time of year for Sephora shopping, I really do.  I want to buy more things, but it is wasted purchases at this point.  I need to wait until Jan 1, so purchases count towards re-rouging the next year.  

But I want to buy the Hourglass Illusion Hyaluronic skin tint foundation SO bad!!! *stamps feet*  

Thank you Sephora, for giving me a sample of an awesome product, that you know I'll just hand over my wallet for.. haha

Really though, this foundation is pretty great!  It has a nice feather light whipped texture, blends beautifully, doesn't clog pores or irritate my super sensitive skin. Doesn't melt off, and isn't too dewy of a finish, but does look like fresh radiant skin.

Weird! When I went on Tuesday the SA asked me to read off my email and apologised for the hassle and said "I really wish I could just scan the cards, but we don't have the ability to do it." It's been a while since I've gone to the other SiJCP near me so I can't remember if they have the same archaic system or not.

Ooh that's smart!! I usually just do what @@normajean2008 said, I'll use up the card no matter how small the amount is and pay the rest on my regular card or by cash. The cashier can side eye me all they want but they can bite me in this case because money is money and I ain't spending the time to find something that's exactly $2.51 or something after tax just so it would be less of an inconvenience. At least I'm not counting out 51 cents in pennies or writing a check.

I was reading the reviews on Sephora for it... and then I get to one where the person is complaining it comes in a squeeze tube instead of a bottle.  

I wish you had to verify you made the purchase before reviewing items sometimes... either that person never bought this makeup or they're just stupid, lol.  This foundation has a whipped texture, it can't go in a rigid bottle, it'll never come out! /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />  

This is one product I would not regret spending all that money on.  Also a little goes a long way, so the tube should last a good while!

@@normajean2008 ~ Have you tried the Guerlain Lingerie De Peau? I have a sample that I tried today. I really like this one and I think its a good color match.  Its medium coverage with a subtle glow.

Ugh I hate it when people do that. It's also super annoying when an item is briefly VIB/Rouge exclusive and non-VIBs start leaving 1 star reviews complaining about how it's unfair and how they ~would've bought it if they could. Just calm down and wait a few weeks!

I have, I think I have a couple samples somewhere left too.   It looks okay when I first put it on, but does something weird after a few hours.  It is either changing colors and the samples I got were just too light, or it is melting or transferring strangely.  I can't quite figure it out.  Or maybe it was just to glowy?  Probably one of those things that'll continue to be a mystery, lol.

I went to SiJCP  to spend the 25 dollar gc the other day, and my boyfriend said as part of my xmas gift he would pay the other 25 dollars, so I grabbed a Benefit blush and a Nars highlight, and he was like..

My old manager was there and we started laughing so hard, I just kissed his cheek and told him how cute he was hahaha..

Just got my $50 with $25 gift code order canceled and when I emailed asking why they said just reorder and it won't get canceled and I did, got canceled again. When I kept pressing why I got a generic "you have violated our terms of use" what??? Looks like I won't bother re-rouging this year. So ridiculous.

Eugh, that sucks. Did they ever work it out for you? Maybe if you called they could place it over the phone for you?

I'm so baffled when clerks give people those looks- I mean, surely if you work as a clerk you can't afford to just ignore $3? WHAT THE HECK? Money is money. It all adds up. I don't get how some people just can't get that.

I would scan ten $0.4 cards if I wanted to-- I did let the cashier scan my $0.67 giftcard in Target one time which was a leftover from a gwp $5 giftcard from Target. I will gladly get over whatever looks they give me than wasting my money.

Right? It's like when my coworkers at my summer internship would get on my case for only getting gas at costco 10 min away when there was a gas station next to our building. "You'll be spending the difference driving the extra distance!" Yeah um no, I'm not paying $3.75 for a gallon of gas when it's $3.00 at costco. I drive an SUV and if I'm putting 20 gallons in my car that's a $15 difference. I'm not using 5 gallons of gas driving 10 extra miles.

Yeah 5 cents makes no sense if you're driving a gallon away, but when it's 75 cents difference per gallon and you've got an empty tank, it's worth it. Plus I get cash back on my costco Amex too so it's even better. Of course it was full time people making easily 5x what I did telling me it wasn't worth it. Yeah, y'all have to work 10-15 minutes to make what I do in an hour. Of course the savings are worth way less to you than to a full time student trying to pay tuition smh.

Did anyone else get an email from sephora for 250 bonus points on any fragrance purchase? I wish they would, y'know, put out some good perks. I want to spend points but there's nothing that ever catches my eye hmph.
