I have what may be the silliest question. I ordered the Guerlain Meteorites in Clair 2. I received them earlier today. There seems to be a ridiculously small amount in the container. I'm probably the biggest nerd, but I actually counted how many of the little balls were in the container and there were 42. Is this normal? It was less than half full. Since this is my first time ordering these, I have no clue as to how much is actually supposed to be in the container. I know they were reformulated earlier this year and the new packaging has less in it now than it did before. However, is what I got normal? I would really appreciate any feedback! Thank you! 

Post a picture? It will be easier to tell if you have a normal amount or not - since the balls vary in size naturally, how many you have might not be the same amount I or anyone else started with. /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Apparently I did get 250 points added to my account through my order after all. Yay! I might just place 1 or 2 more orders before this expires, then cash in at my local SiJCP for the Josie Maran 500 point perk..... or the Hourglass one online if it's still in stock. Didn't someone say it was back in stock? I can't find the link to it though. Humph!

Oh, also, I went to SiJCP today to redeem the free UD liner, and they were super busy and one of their cash registers was down, so a cast member helped me- I wasn't buying anything, just redeeming my liner. She didn't scan my coupon since the register was down, so she just took my coupon. I got 'glitter rock' as per the suggestion of the lovely lady here. I just evil-ly printed out another coupon and plan to go back and get the gold one.... they can't say it's been used since it wasn't linked to my account. How awful am I? Anyway, I think gold will be lovely for the holidays!

For some reason I don't get them either, my mom gets them that's how I find out.

I think yesterday I got my first flyer, I think maybe you have to shop in SiJCP and make sure they update your BI information with your address, that's how I got mine to start working.

Interesting, I usually shop at SiJCP enough, I'll have to ask them if they have that all up to date next time =)

I wanted to share my experience as I know some ladies had question on returning items bought with the reward card.

On the BI board senhora said if u return something bought with the reward card u get only what u paid back if u were to return.

I made a $50+ online order. Used one of the items, hated it and returned it today. I was ready to "lose" my reward amount. But that was not the case. They gave me a full refund on the item returned. So essentially the $20 reward was all used on the remaining item that I didn't return.

Again everyone's experience could be different.

Is the order you want to return an online order or a store purchase? I asked because if it was an online order you should get the credit back since they can't tell you used a reward code on the packing slip. Since you paid for part of the order it will just say that method of payment and they will refund your purchase the full amount. I hope i'm making sense lol

guys, if you ever need someplace to spend those pesky visa gift cards, use them to pay utilities. i use mine to pay my phone or cable bill. works every time... you can specify exactly how much to put on what card, so i just make multiple payments until all those rebate or gift cards are used up (usually rebate cards for me). i just pay the bill a little in advance so that all those transactions can go through and i'll still know how much is left that i have to pay.

i don't like buying stuff with them on the offchance that i have to make a return and they NEED that card (this has happened to me at cvs before - chaos ensued when i said i threw it away).

I do this with my visa, I actually have a registered card that I just reload. So any returns are no problem! Vanilla visa. But just an FYI, I bought an american express one in a rush way back and could not pay my bills!!! I had to sell the card to get my money back!

oh I know... I'm not saying that they were wrong in requiring the card. I'm just saying that's why I prefer to pay for things I know I can't return (like utility bills) with those prepaid cards, so I can throw them away when I'm done.

I used to get a big one every Christmas from my boss, and I felt like I should buy myself something nice with it.  But it got to be such a hassle kuz I ended up with so many of those amex gift cards laying around. It got to be too confusing... better to use them up on utilities and then use my own cc's to buy pretty things for myself! /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Also just another FYI, cuz I get gift cards mostly too, I actually prefer them! If u do want to buy something and are worried about a return, u can always add it to ur PayPal! I done this plenty of times. It has its downsides too but? It works! I have like 30 cards on my PayPal!I need to delete those seriously!

I recently used my $25 Rouge card to order Meteorites for the first time and my first order came with only 13 pearls in tact!!!!  The rest were smashed into powder.  Long story short, Sephora sent me a replacement that contained 42 pearls.  I discussed this with a few ladies on BT and they all received 42 - 44 pearls in their boxes.  The tin should be about half full.

I've posted a photo of my first (damaged) box and my in-tact box below.

Good to hear you got your meteorites without any more breakage! What are you doing with the smashed ones? Still going to use them? I wonder what it would be like if you smashed the rest of the pearls in the broken one and then pressed them?

I haven't decided what to do with it yet....

I tried using some of the loose crushed powder as a highlighter, but it (a) made a mess and ( B) made my face look ghastly white because I kept picking up way too much product.

I can't bear to just throw it out (because expensive!), but I've not had much luck trying to press/re-pot powders or shadows - what do you recommend?

What was your experience with pressing powders/shadows before and what was your process? I would say that aside from transferring the intact pearls over to your replacement, the only way to use the crushed powder would be to press it

It depends on the binders in it. I would say all you need to do is remove the intact pearls, put the powder in an empty compact or whatever your choice is, and use rubbing alcohol to press together. It works for broken powders of all sorts (eye shadows, face powder, etc)- but since these are balls, I'm not sure. I know a few girls in here could help, and if we can summon @@Kelly Silva she might know. As might @

i think last year codes began to work on the 21st - i am logged in + just tried extrarouge code and it says:

Must be logged into your VIB Rouge account and purchase sale merchandise to qualify. Only available for orders shipping to the U.S. or Canada.
