interesting. i just placed an order using extrarouge (it worked fine), and then went back to order something else on sale (another fragrance hehe) and i got the error message. @@SaraP your trick worked great! but it's so weird that it only happens sometimes, not always. weird sephora.  :wacko2:

so.. i woke up in the middle of the night, couldn't sleep, and decided to shop the sephora sale a little more. i found the nest fragrances to be interesting (i love light and clean scents) so i decided to order one. i almost placed the order with the delight code, but luckily i decided i shouldn't order from my phone, in bed... so i got up and used my laptop and suddenly remembered the 20% code.   i'm really lucky i didn't just pay $5 for a mini deluxe sample of face wash!

Actually I found that on Facebook and noted that in the original post. Then I tried it and it worked, updated the post to say that and typed over the Facebook statement... So not a genius, unfortunately ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I'm glad this has come up. I bought a PTR set during the $25 off (at JCP), and when I got it home saw that it expires in the spring! That has to mean it was manufactured a while ago, right? I won't use it before then, so I'm returning it and letting them know why. I think that's ridiculous. Fortunately, most of the stuff I bought during this sale are brushes, etc.

I've tried pressing broken powders and shadows using a little bit of alcohol (after viewing a few tutorials online), but they always seemed to break up again after a few uses.

Anyone get their Bite Deconstructed Rose set yet?  Mine look like someone swatched them maybe?  All of them have like little scratchy dents on the side, not uniform or anything but they've all got some weird marks on them.  I'm thinking they're okay to use but I just wanted to check to see if anyone else had ordered one and received it to compare.

I mainly just ordered extras of the Pink Almond Candy set...I absolutely love the smell of the souffle and keep hoping they will make it individually.

I really wanted the $25 benefit lip set so I was bad and just got it even knowing about the 20% sale. (Only a VIB, but after today, only $11 away!! Eeekk...oops??). @@bonita22 my hometown store still had it in stock so maybe try there? Had the best Sephora day ever. Wasn't intending on hitting rouge this year, but I found three bottles of my favorite, discontinued day face lotion from Dior so I promptly bought them all. Was so sad when it stopped being online. Then I spotted a l'occitane shea butter tin marked as $26. I knew it typically retails for $40 plus so I asked someone to check the price for me and they honored the $26 price. Left with a huge smile on my face (and correspondly no money left to spend... But does it count if you are stocking up??)

The physical sephora store still had a lot of stock for the benefit 3 scoops of sexy for $25.

$25 is a good price for that set although $20 is even better.....

I didn't buy the set but I did order a single lipstick when they were in stock - something about the formula of those three makes them super soft and prone to sweating/melting so it is possible that they simply got banged around in transit!

Whoa you are soo right about the sweating.  I've had them inside for a few hours now, just opened one up to check it and its ultra sweaty, they definitely were not like that a few hours ago.  Thanks for your help.

You need to use a LOT of alcohol tbh, press HARD, and let it be for at least 48+ hours. I've never had issues with mine :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I ordered that Bite three-lipstick set and I don't know why, I bought one of the colors when they first came out and promptly took it back. I hated the formula and color, and I usually ADORE Bite. I also got that Bite kit that comes with the lip mask, because i lost my last one (not even 1/4th used, sniff!) and it's a good deal. I also got the Tarte naturals palette, not the one with the lace or the zipper, but the one with the flower. I never got that one. I came SO CLOSE to buying another one of the Tarte Naturals palette with the zipper on it because the last time it was on sale, two of the shadows had been a tiny bit damaged in shipping and I couldn't replace it, but I'm trying to be better. I don't NEED ANOTHER ONE!

I'm going on my first no-buy after the holidays (well, I've been on one for the last two weeks before the other day, because I think I spent about $500 on both Secret Santas and I have seven nieces and nephews that need to be spoiled for Christmas). It's not just that I'm starting to get broke- my "fun money" account is getting dangerously low- it's that I DON'T NEED THIS STUFF. I couldn't use it all up in my lifetime, I don't think. I just need to seriously lay off and only buy the true, TRUE treasures. My boyfriend and I are building our dream house, we've got planned trips to the UK, South Africa, Japan, India (some of the few *major* tourist destinations I haven't been to yet) and, most importantly- DISNEY WORLD! My first time! My point isn't some cool brag- it's that every time I buy stuff I don't even really want that much, I take away from our fun money fund that i'm SURE we're going to want to drain while traveling this year.

I don't know why I'm telling you all of this, except that I think you wonderful gals are some of the few who will understand my compulsion to buy stuff I don't REAAAAALLY want, get suckered into sales and GWPs, and then feel blah about it. Someone want to link me to the no-buy thread? :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

totally get it! traveled quite a bit before kiddos and now that I cant b/c of them I think I spend on these things!

I believe that that travels + adventures and the memories you make are worth way more than any sephora haul! the key is moderation but easier said than done!

I almost just made a purchase only to get the cute perfume gift today! I had to stop myself!
