@  In the pictures @ swatched each color ball or 'meteorite' individually without blending to show the colors and shine/shimmer of each ball.  All 3 pictures are of the same colors in the same order just different lighting.  One side is the holiday meteorites (side that says '14) and the other side is Clair 02 (side that says 02).  I hope that answers your questions!

I stopped by SiJCP tonight and picked up that sephora favorites summer set with the lip products and nail polish for $6.99.  They had a decent amount of sale stuff marked to 70% off.
Dang, that's a great deal! Sounds like I need to make a trip to JCP in the morning!

When I went last week they had the Summerstash set too for $25.  I didn't pick it up because I really don't need ANYTHING at all.  The employee who rung me up tonight said that they marked them down to like $13 yesterday and they flew off the shelves.  That would have been a major score.

For some reason, my SiJCP still has a bunch of the skincare bags out from earlier this year... for like $12 or $15 now, but whenever i ask about them, they say they don't have any of the samples. <_> OKay, that's fair, but why are they out then? Are you expecting anyone to pick up just the bags for $12?

That is bizarre.

So the lower swatches are the Holiday Meteorites, and the ones above the line are the Clair 02 swatches. This is them just rubbed on the skin separated by color of pearl. Both varieties are unblended in these pictures, I applied them to my hand after applying primer.

ETA: My swatches were basically so that everyone could see the color variation between the two, with the Holiday version being a lot darker and containing warmer tones.
That makes sense now!  Thank you thank you!!

My sisters have always had this problem, too (headaches with scents). It only happens to me with REALLY strong perfumes. I'm sorry :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I use a finishing powder brush for mine. I was going to buy the brush they made for it, but at that price I figured I had something that would work for them anyway. The brush I have is puffy, but not too puffy, and the bristles are medium-stiff. I still want to check out the brush they make for it to see what qualities it has (how soft the bristles are, etc). I apply mine all over my face and neck :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I used the 10% off code to buy mine, but the price still hurt. Maybe wait until November and you can get it for 15 or 20% off?

I'll let you know what I think when I get it!

Do u think it will still be in stock then? I'm nervous lol!

My boyfriend offered to get me whatever I wanted, like a fancy powder, as part of our anniversary present lol! So I want something, but if the scent lingers :/ yikes it will be a total waste D:

I really don't know :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I don't want to tell you yes and then have them sell out!! The new Sephora site lets you know when new items are starting to run out (It'll say "Only a few left") so maybe stalk it every few days? And if it says that, then just buy them with a 10% off code. You can always take them back if you don't like them or they give you a headache. And if it never says that, you can use your 20% off code to get them later :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

@ I think the shimmer in the holiday Meteorites won't be too much for you at all age-wise, but maybe a little too much for ANY age in a conservative office atmosphere? I don't know if they're too shimmery or how much more shimmery they are than the regular Meteorites, though (@ can you let us know what you think? How much more shimmery are the holiday editions?). Like I said above, you can always take them back if you don't like them :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> Also, to be clear, the swatch was each individual ball in the Meteorites. When you use them, you swirl your brush around them and get a uniform color. I remember you bought the Too Faced Sweethearts Beads (these http://answers.sephora.com/answers/8723/product/P378617/questions.htm) so the idea is the same, it's like if she swatched each individual color of heart. You use the Meteorites the same way :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Funny story, went to my sephora today for help with achieving a wing look with an eyeliner. The gal helping explained my upper eyelid was making the eyeliner application a bit tricker on me.

When describing my eyelid she said it's a bit "meatier" I though she said my eyelid was a "meteor." And I was like uh what's a meteor eye....Er duh you said meatier like a chunky eyelid. We both had a good laugh.

Anyway, I leaned some new tricks got foundation matched, I had a few thing to buy but the line was so long and, honestly I was so fracking hangry, I just rolled out with my foundation samples. I felt bad though I should bought something so she got some credit for helping my meaty eyelids.

Lol. My SiJCP still has the Pulp Fiction stuff at full price.
I work at SiJCP and I check every time I work to see if it's been marked down yet. Whyyyyy is it not marked down, why! I need it! (At the $16 price lol)
We sold our summer sets awhile ago but I did mark down the rest of our older KVD lipsticks to $8 today.

I tried those, and don't see them on my skin at all. I've tried them on my face alone, over my full makeup, to enhance my facial peaks and valleys...nothing shows.  I wanted them to be like the smashbox prism, but it didn't work out that way.

I honestly don't find the holiday version that shimmery, and it really doesn't appear that way on the skin at all! I mean, sure, there will be a bit of sparkle on your face but to me it's similar to the type of sparkle you would get from a highlighting product, just WAY less in your face. I really believe that both types of meteorites give that lit from within look but nothing that would make any of us appear to be discoballs.
