I'm a little embarrassed...already told my friend about the goodie bag! Not sure what to do if only I get one. I'm thinking maybe they just don't want to guarantee gifts to the guests in case they run out, but that they will still try. Maybe that's idealistic of me, lol!

My friend will be fine with it. Ultimately she is going for the discount and the experience.

All my friends are in a different state so guess the ol hubs will be going. I didn't add him as a guest b/c he won't be buying. But do I need to?? It's so confusing!

All my friends are in different cities too!  I'll invite my agency PM for all the good assignments that she send me to.  I was in the 5th Ave. Sephora today and the SA helped me pick out a nice foundation and primer and told me to come this Sunday.  She very strategically, did not mention the GWP.  

It's a cute bag, but am not sure that I'm going to get myself up early on a Sunday morning and take the subway into NYC just for some foils.  If I can get a group of new acquaintance/friends to meet up for brunch afterwards, I might do it!

I feel kind of guilty, but Sephora let me order my birthday gift 6 times before It stopped letting me add it to orders. I received all six. Also, when I added one for my mother (on her account) she got an eyeliner (the "Rouge only" package) even though she's just a BI.

What are people thinking about getting at the Rouge event on Sunday?  I'm looking for ideas!!  I like to get things in store that are likely to become sold out online (I'm thinking of the Hourglass Ambient Lighting blush in Dim Infusion and NARS concealer in Vanilla)...trying to remember what products go really quickly during the sale.

I'll probably stock up on a skincare kit and a BB cream, I definitely want to try out a BB cream during the in store event.  What's on your shopping lists???

There are events in queens and Long Island too. You don't have to go into Manhattan!

I was going to get some eye cream but I just bought it on birchbox.com with a 20% off code and points. Now I'm thinking of cologne for my husband and just stocking up on some essentials like cleanser... MAYBE some YSL glossy stains if they have any colors I like in stock....and maybe Naked Basics.

It's only available in select stores and in the Canadian site. I've always found that strange so I just buy their products whenever they have a GWP in macys or something.

Its on the US site now...most of the reviews for each product are from Canada, so probably a recent addition to the US site.

I agree with you about the GWP....Clinique, Lancome, and EL do really good gift with purchases at department stores, so its not "worth it" to me to get Sephora points from these buying these products at Sephora instead.

I don't understand why Sephora doesn't do more to have GWPs so they can compete with department stores. My mom never shops at Sephora for this reason (and she spends A LOT on beauty so I'm sure Neiman Marcus is happy Sephora doesn't do GWPs). Not only do they have great GWPs from basically every brand, they also seasonally offer great gifts if you spend a certain amount across their beauty department. Those gifts are usually cute, trendy, shoulder bags full of products across multiple brands.saks.com also let's you use like 5 coupon codes on orders, so you can get discounts and tons of gifts. Sephora needs to get up to speed on this.
