I have been using this in Auburn for a few weeks.  When I originally picked it up, Sephora and Ulta were both out of the brush.  I bought an Ulta branded eyebrow brush that was on sale and had not been happy with it's performance.  So yesterday I picked up the Anastasia brush at Nordstrom and asked them too give me a quick lesson on how to use it properly.  One thing I learned was that this is waterproof.  The salesgirls said their doesn't even come off when they shower.  You have to use make-up remover to get it off.  So if you do a great job on your brows one day, you can shower the next day and they will still be "done".

Bahaha that's insanity.  I avoid oil based makeup removers on my eyebrows because I do get them tinted at Benefit (guys it's so worth it.  I spend a considerably smaller amount of time filling in my brows).  But maybe dark brown will be a thing that I have to pick up eventually!

Awesome!  That was on my list as well.  What color do you use?  I was trying to find a cooler/ashier tone!
I use the shade Chocolate and I think it's a great match for my level 3 dark brown hair :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> Eta: I use Schwarkopf color, so it's their "level 3"!

I'm dying to own a dipbrow.. I went to a busy shephora yesterday to swatch and all of the pots were basically empty and they didn't have a chocolate. I can't decide between chocolate or dark brown. Hmph.

I ordered online, but after looking at blog post swatches of all the available colors, I decided that Chocolate was probably going to be my best bet...aaand sure enough! I use my MAC 208 brush for application, and the two together are FLAWLESS...love!!!

to all the dipbrow fans out there: is this like the benefit gimme brow, but in a pot? gimme brow is 'fiber gel' and i absolutely love it. i don't need much coverage at all. i just want my brows to look even, and the hairs tamed. i'm wondering if i'll get a similar effect with dipbrow. i'd repurchase benefit's, but i always like to try new stuff! THANKS!

Sorry, @Saku, but I've never actually used Benefit's gimme brow, so, unfortunately I can't comment, but hopefully someone who's used both can weigh in :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

My brows are basically black but also super sparse and I really hated the dip brow. I got the dark brown shade and it looked like I had used markers on my brows. My black hair stood out so much from the dip brow shade. I think I'll stick to my MAC Brun eyeshadow that looks much more natural!

I tried Gimme Brow and hated it because my brows need more than what GB could do. I think the dipbrow is thicker and offers way more coverage. The dipbrow gel is more like an eyeliner gel.

ETA: If you don't need much coverage, I suggest skipping dipbrow.

@lioness90 thanks! that's helpful. it sounds like the dipbrow is not the right product for me. so many options!

Just FYI for anyone attending an in-store Rouge event for Chic Week:

So per Sephoras facebook page the Rouge event on the 30th will NOT be giving out gwp bags to the +1's. I've invited a friend and told her about the gwp, now I feel like an a$$! Thanks Sephora you couldn't scrape together enough 1 time use samples for the people we invited to shop in your store???

Just catching up. I use Naked Basics for shadow, liner and contouring for my sad little bit too nose. It's quite flexible since most are matte.

[CONTENTEMBED=/t/131177/sephora-codes-deals-sales-and-discussion/9720#post_2315688 layout=inline]Anyone have Naked Basics and can talk to it being used both as a carry all eyeshadow palette and for brows?  Was thinking about bumping up to $50 for free shipping with Anastasia powder but Basics is only a few dollars more.  Thoughts?[/CONTENTEMBED]

That's REALLY annoying! Why did they make us RSVP for us and our guest if they weren't going to have enough on hand even when they have a count of attendees in advance? Also, I have still not received anything about the event in my mail or email. I wonder how many people will find out about this when it's too late for them to change plans and attend? I see that being a bit of a PR mess for Sephora... Although hopefully it means easy shopping for the rest of us girls.

I feel like I really need this in my life. Good thing there are only a few days to chic week!

Gimme brow was too shiny for me, and I felt like it just made the hairs thicker rather than actually filling in. Haven't tried the dip row though. Diorshow brown pencil is pretty perfect for me though.

They probably wanted a head count for food.  Did they ever announce that they would be giving away bags to guests? I guess this is the first year for Rouge during chic week but I don't remember them giving bags away to VIB's guests in the past.

No but I think we assumed that good etiquette dictates that all guests of the same event receive the same treatment. I'm not going to take a guest now. Oh hey I'm gonna get a GWP but your not but please spend your money here with me anyway. It's rude and I'll not subject my friend to it.

I can't even figure out how to RSVP. When I do searches for events at my stores in Vegas, I don't see anything about it. Am I missing something? Does someone have a link?

Sephora.com/rouge-rsvp ETA: Although it seems to be getting an error right now.
