If anyone gets bored on the snow-day and have a couple of stubby lipsticks and lip blams laying around, read on... I took the Bite mini, the base of several lip balms (including Fresh Sugar, there's like 1/3 product in the base), small chunck of a really very very dark vampy Sephora lipstick (on sale for $3 or $5 purchased for Halloween) and a few drops of avacado oil, squished them together then nuked it 10 seconds at a time in a shot glass (remove it when it turns liquid and blend some more, don't over nuke) and pour into one of the emptied lip-balm tube (be sure to screw the base back down) and popped it in the freezer for rapid cooling. This is my second, they always become my favorite lip-tint because it was fun and I now have a full tube made from products that I couldn't get at prior. You'd be tickkled... 3 or 4 leveled products will yield you an entire tube.
Okay can you tell that I have snow-fever
...
It literally takes less then 15 minutes to make one up and is a fun little project. The nuking has the added benefit of frying any bacteria as well. (I wouldnt' dig out the base on this one for a 3rd round... that'd be over re-cycling) I would not include a shimmer lipstick in this project or if you want to watch the micro-wave oven for any possible arcing.
I forgot I had that baby lipstick! I have to find it lol!
Thanks for this, I will return this one but for next time I will definitely try this.

I think Bite lipsticks are just too soft, but I love the way they don't go on the cracks of my lips <3
