Just chimming in on the decision mix... It does make 'math matical' sense. But you also need to look at personal consumption patterns as well.
For me I used to buy the 3.4 or the 1.7 because it made more dollar sense but then I realized that I never get though them, because new scents come out and new favorites were found.
Not wanting to have the bottles sit idle and change in their scent profile and also because I'm moving soon, I threw them online for sale. I was able to sell the Angel, Blue and Dior on eBay, so that was good. But when I crunched the numbers on what I got for the rest of the bottle, time invested in photographing and writing up eBay copy and packaging to send out... the smaller spray makes better economic sense overall.
But I still only like sprays so I'll get the sprays that are 1 fl oz or the delux travel sprays that run between .25 oz to .33 oz. With 8 spray fragrances on rotation and likee 20 miniatures that I can tip on wrist, I've not been left wanting yet.
Just a thought for short-attention-span fragrance lovers like myself
