I think I will the back of the shipping receipt is very specific about online returns but in store is a little vague. It doesn't have any time frames.

I've never tried after that period of time, I would think they might only give you store credit vs. putting money back on your credit card. Definitely try and if the SA is resistant follow up with a manager.

I'll be happy with store credit, I just made so many purchases over those few months that I totally forgot. I just started shopping at Sephora at the end of October and made Rouge in mid December. So I really had a ton of orders...I've only exchanged in store for a different color foundation.

My store is really nice. I brought in a foundation I had used maybe 5 times before I decided I hated it...without a receipt or even the box, they looked up the purchase using my Rouge account, and let me exchange for a cheaper foundation that I liked better no questions asked. I know some people say they get poor service at Sephora, but I've had good luck, hopefully you will too!

i just smelled rosabotanica (from a nordstrom sample) and the sephora description is spot on. Spicy Floral. very unique, makes a statement in an elegant kind of way while not being too bold. the florabotanica smells more floral to me.. i think i like the rosabotanica better! excited for my scarf/mini bottle!

Just had the absolute greatest experience at Sephora. Went in to test out Rosabotanica and to pick up a perfume and cologne with two scent certificates that I had. The men's cologne certificate offered Uomo but they no longer sell it and the cast member felt awful. She let my husband pick whatever cologne he liked, no matter the price. I got to asking her about the Rosabotanica perk and how I didn't have enough points but that I was looking to buy one on eBay or Poshmark. And she pulled me aside at an empty cash register and told me to wait and that she'd be right back. So she scans my scent certificate and starts wrapping my items to put them in the bag and you'll never believe what she did next.... She pulled out the mini Rosabotanica/scarf perk (the last one they had) and stuffs it into my bag!!!! She said that the perfume smelled amazing on me and that it suited me and she gave it to me for free! I almost cried! Guys, magic can happen in a real Sephora!

If you got a survey with your reciept make sure to go online and give her some awesome feedback!  Or call the store and ask for a manager and praise the employee if you happened to get her name.  Or mail a thank you card to her at the store.  That is an amazing CS story though!

All these people talking about this perk are making me want it and I have never even smelled the perfume before!

Love the call the store idea, nothing like giving praise when it's due!!

I just returned (finally got around to it) 3 Sun Safety kits that I got last May.  They refunded me exactly according to the purchase mode, one went back on my credit card and the other two in a gift card, because it was purchased via gift card.

They SA and the one next to her were both quite excited to see the kits.

Mine have always let me take it back no matter how old it is, if I have the receipt and it is past 90 days they still give me the original form of payment, if I don't have the receipt they give me an in-store credit. If you have the receipt, you should still get your original form of payment, but at the very least you'll get credit. They're hardcore about the 90 day rule online but it doesn't seem to apply in-store. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Oh yes! I definitely plan on calling and telling the manager all about my experience! I will also e-mail and do the online survey! I just couldn't believe the generosity and was in shock, I actually hugged the girl. LOL.

Yay!  Enjoy your new perfume and take a pic of the scarf when you wear it!

I think it's so awesome that this happened to you.  I would have never gotten this perk if you hadn't taken the time to post about it.

Thanks girls, I'm such a rule follower I felt a little bad about going past the return date. Good to know that it's within policy for a return in-store. I was worried they'd be all
rules.gif
!

I just want to add that when I called the online CS to verify policy, they said that it was upto the store on whether they'll decide to refund according to the original mode of purchase or by store credit if one didn't have the original packing slip.

In the event that one doesn't, you can go to your purchase history and print that out as well.

@ohsailor, I would definitely be interested in joining a circular swap! I have quite a bit of foils and deluxe samples collecting dust, and I'm sure a lot of MUTers so as well! If you do get something started, make sure to post a link here so we all know about it!

I've always wondered about these products.  Do you guys put on Sleep before bed?  Do you feel like it relaxes you as part of a nighttime routine or helps you get to sleep?  I'm a troubled sleeper, so these might be nice to add to my bedtime routine, the other ones seem a little gimmicky to me.
21 drops sleep has been a blessing for my 7 year old who is adhd and can not settle down to sleep. He loves to put it on himself. It goes on temples, under nose, back of neck, and bottoms of feet (this is a new spot his teacher suggested) His pediatrician even googled it last time we were in the office because she was so impressed with his sleep issues being managed without medication. That being said, the focus rollerball didn't help him that much but helps my other little guy focus in preschool. His teacher even mentioned how focused he had been at the end of a week and we just laughed. I personally love the calm rollerball. I also have headache and passion and haven't used but once or twice so no feeling either way on them yet. I think they should start paying me for my testimonies. Lol!
