Those Hourglass samples are good sized! I've received samples from brands I'm surprised about too.Originally Posted by LolaJay /img/forum/go_quote.gif
So I have been following this thread for awhile and I just wanted to post about the samples that were waiting for me in my mail box today! I haven't been e-mailing a ton of companies or anything, but I was very interested in trying some Hourglass foundation. I got a sample in a Sephora order not too long ago and wanted to try it, but it was too dark for me. So I wrote to them letting them know my skin concerns and someone got back to me a few days later saying they could send me samples, they just needed to know what shades I might be. I didn't know if they would actually send them since I didn't hear anything back, but they did!! I am so impressed!
If their foundation is as good as I've heard it is, then I guess I will be splurging!
Just wanted to let you all know...sometimes brands that you think won't send samples actually do!
They told me I didn't qualify for the samples /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />I love getting the target samples!
I asked Jane Iredale specifically about skincare samples and lipsticks last Sunday. It's been 8 days and no response. /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />I emailed Jane Iredale on Saturday. Got a response back the same day. She asked me to take the quiz and give her the results. I wasnt sure if I would be a medium or medium dark. Well I ALREADY got my sample package from them. She sent both shades, a powder and two lipstick samples I mentioned. I cannot believe the quickness and great customer service! I hope I like the products-I can't wait to try them!
Try again. I wrote a very honest, detailed (yet to the point) email and got no response. I tried again about a month later (only this time I was pretty short and seemed less interested) and got a reply in 30 minutes.Originally Posted by peridotcricket /img/forum/go_quote.gif

What!? No, I just emailed and asked for samples and they emailed back and asked about my skin type and asked for my address again. Did you even say anything about a blog? EDIT: I clearly can't read., I see that her email says you sent your link. Sorry.Hi Kim, Â Thank you for sending the link to your blog! Unfortunately at this time we have already allocated all of our blogger samples for the next 6 months, but please keep in touch with us and reach out to us again after that time! Â Molly did anyone else receive this response from juice beauty?

I'm getting great samples in my Birchbox this month, including a Cargo blush. I love Birchbox!
The page had a questionnaire that asks age range and what your hair concerns are. I answered 35 -50 age range, and since its a volume enhancing shampoo and conditioner, I checked all the boxes that had "volume" as an option.Originally Posted by leelee82 /img/forum/go_quote.gif
