I contacted Vbeaute for samples a week ago and received a package from them today along with a nice note.  The note says they ran out of their samples so they sent me their travel kit instead.   Its a really nice hard plastic case with 5 travel size products in it.  That was really nice of Vbeaute!
that's great!  I got 10 little tubes.  The products seem very nice, but the little tubes are pretty much a single use in each.  I didn't think the tube with the cleanser had enough to wash my face, but once I started to use it I discovered a that little bit of cleanser goes a long way.  Its still a single use tube though.  The serums and moisturizer are also single use.  I think I can squeak two uses out of the eye cream.   I'm not complaining.  They are all very nice products and I was very glad to get to try them.

It must get really expensive for these companies to manufacture and send out all these little samples we get in the mail.

I received 3 bottles of shower gel from Molton Brown today.  I cant believe how quickly I received them!  The bottles are 2 ounces each, and smell so good!

Did they send them UPS??

juice beauty asked me for a link to my blog..have any of you had this experience with them?

Yes. It's common for companies to ask for a link if you mentioned your blog or asked for samples to review. That's why I don't tell them I have a blog. Here's what works 4 out of 5 times for me. In this case their website showed both haircare and skincare products. If they only sell skincare, I don't mention hair and vice versa. Where can I purchase samples of John Masters Organics products?A friend recommended your line of skincare products. I am also looking to improve my haircare routine. I have long, blonde, not color-treated hair, which tends to be wavy and frizzy. I have adult acne and I was recently informed that silicones/dimethicone in the hair products I use has been contributing to clogged pores on my face. I am looking for new products to improve the quality of my hair and my skin. I would like to try samples before purchasing full-size products. I would appreciate any assistance. Thank You Tammy (Insert My Address Here)

I think most companies ask that, and also how many subscribers you have.

I just checked my post office box.  I got 3 packets from Thymes today.  There used to be a place near me that carried Thymes products, but they're gone now.  I really like Thymes, and am excited to try the 3 body lotions they sent me.

When I get samples of body lotions or even packets of shower gels, they are usually not enough to cover my whole body (and I'm a fairly small person), so I use the nice scented products on my arms and chest if there is enough, and a basic unscented lotion elsewhere.  That way I get to try the product and see how it will smell as the day goes by.

I really like it. I'm on a business trip in Moscow...I literally got in through the mail while I was packing my luggage. The scent is...odd. Raw shea butter smells "wild" to me, regardless of who makes it. Other than the scent, it is really nice.
Hope you had a great trip to Moscow!  I would love to go there someday.  I hope you had a lot of samples to take with you - to help make your luggage a little lighter!

I'm still there, err, here! I come back on the 21st. I'm sure I have a nice stack of sample envelopes waiting for me (hopefully). Going through TSA and customs screenings with a Ziploc baggie full of sample packets...yeah, some strange looks. But myself and the samples made it through and that's all that matters :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I had a few that I didn't take because of poor labeling...I didn't want to risk it. My Erno Lazlo mask pots had smudged labels and I didn't want to chance it getting tossed.

I do love the raw shea butter cream...I'm going to order a pot when I get back to the states. Works nice for my eczema spots.

Thanks to this thread, I will be receiving FOUR samples from Molton Brown to try! When they responded to my email, I was told that the limit was 2 samples per request. So, I kindly asked for 2 samples for myself and 2 samples for my boyfriend (after disovering via their email that they do offer samples in their men's line)! Yay! Excited for the scents they are sending - they sound so unusual.

I also put in a request for samples from Archipelago. I thought it was a bit odd that they sent out solid wax (wickless candles) but it makes sense. I may use them in my mini crock pot since I don't have a tart burner, or as a solid perfume as someone suggested OR stick one in my car to use as an air freshener...I would imagine it would work well as one during the warmer months.

Waiting to hear back from Jane Iredale.

I also emailed Cargo - I think that is wishful thinking but you never know until you ask, right?

If you email Hermes.com the customer service email address with specific perfume requests they will send some. It's been about 4 months but I received what I asked for and they were very generously sized sprays.

Let us know how it goes with Cargo.  I was surprised by some of the companies I received samples from, so you never know!

I would love to try an Hermes fragrance and just made a request.  Thanks for sharing that!

I sent Molton Brown a very non-specific request for samples and was sent 3 little 2oz bottles of their shower gels.  I love all 3 scents, but the Vitalising Vitamin A, B + C is my favorite.  It leaves my skin feeling very soft and comforted even before I apply my cream or oil.

I emailed Archipelago a sample request as well, but I was specific about which products I wanted to try and specifically stated a body wash and lotion that I wanted samples of because I saw on this thread that others had received the wickless candles and I wanted to try the products to be sure I wouldn't have a reaction to them.  I got a reply back saying they would send what I had requested.  I haven't received them yet though, so it will be interesting to see what they send.

I noticed that a lot of these companies that were really generous with their samples at first are less so as more and more people request them.  It makes sense if they are getting a ton of requests.  That way more people can try their products.

Free stuff I've gotten the past two days!! Oscar blandi sent quite a few foil packs too..

Hello, did you contact Oscar Blandi for these deluxe samples, or received them some other way? I contacted them a while ago and offered my honest review on my blog, and I receive 1 sample foil of shampoo and 1 foil of conditioner, I am not going to even bother reviewing this. One use is not enough to build an opinion.

Yes, you definitely have to be careful what you take on airplanes these days, especially when its an international flight. You'll have the EL masks to look forward to when you get home and It will be nice to come home to a little pile of goodies in your mail!

I'm expecting that little pot of cream in the mail this week.  I'm really looking forward to trying it.  I've been looking at their website, and the products sound fantastic.  I've been looking for products like what they describe on their website for a while, so I feel like I hit the jackpot.
