I got an email from Sephora that says they're giving out 5 samples (packets) with an order this week.  I used to get excited for the 5 samples, but now 5 samples doesn't sound like that big of a deal anymore! Yesterday I received my 2nd hair and skin care kits from DermOrganics, and few tubes of body butters from Lavanilla and several nice sample from Molton Brown.   Today I didn't have any samples in my mail, but it seems like almost every day there is a few little treats for me. I'm also expecting my Birchbox next week.  I love Birchbox!
I got that email from sephora too and feel the same way. When you start getting all these samples in the mail just for emailing companies it doesn't seem like five is a lot. I wish they weren't packets. I guess we are spoiled now! Lol :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Yes, just the form on the website.

The samples are really travel sized products.  I asked to just try the hair care items, and they sent both the hair care and the skin care kits like is shown in photos on this thread. The hair care kit is shampoo, masque and an oil.  The skincare kit is cleanser, face moisturizer and a body lotion.  They're all great products!
Sounds fantastic, thank you!

Yup!  Definitely spoiled.

I wish they weren't all packets too.  If there were a couple of deluxe size samples I would have been all over it!

I received nice samples from LashEm (lash serum and mascara), Grand Central Beauty (skin polisher), and Thymes (3 lotion packets).

I requested samples from Murad.  I saw the list here that others here were given to choose samples from, but the Murad line I was most interested in wasn't on the list, so I emailed them and asked specifically about the Resurgence line.  They don't have samples available of the particular product I'm interested in, but are sending samples of the rest of the products in the line. I also received a really nice and friendly email from one of their CS reps. That's great customer service!

I had really been wanting to try products from a certain hair care company, so I emailed them and asked for sample.  I received no response at all.  Its been over a month.  I totally understand if a company doesn't send samples.  Its nice to get them but not a big deal if I don't.  What I have been really been impressed with is the customer service I have received from so many of the companies I have made requests to, whether they send samples or not.

I like to change up my hair care products, so even though I just purchased big bottles of my beloved DermOrganics, I wanted to purchase another natural hair care regimen as well so I could change it around when my hair needs it.  John Masters Organics products are similar to the ones I wanted to try from the company that never responded to me, and their customer service is excellent.  I just purchased John Masters products instead of the other companies even though they cost a little more.  Plus, the John Masters Organics all smell delightful!

I have now gotten yeses from, Dr. Hauschka Skin Care, Acure Organics, Actifirm, Macadamia, and LashEm as well as the first 4 I listed.  I did the form for Mario Badescu and got the email for samples, so I guess that is a yes too.  So far I have not gotten any no emails.  I am still waiting to hear from Jane Iredale, Murad, Nuxe, and Nia24.  I still have more emails to send though.

I didn't get any, or at least not many no answers from any of the companies that were discussed on this thread except L'occitane and Jurlique never replied and I never received any samples from them.  So, if your emailing just the companies discussed here, you'll probably get samples from most of them too!  It's a lot of really great product samples!

EDIT:  I didn't contact all of the companies discussed on this thread, so I don't know if others might have said no by the time I discovered this thread.  I emailed just the ones I was truly interested in purchasing products from, which was more than I thought.  I still have tons of samples.  I didn't receive a reply from Nia 24, the samples just showed up in my mailbox a week or so later so you might not hear back from them, but still get the samples.

I'm not really sure my nia24 request went through. After I hit submit, the screen came back blank.

How did you contact Arcona?  Is there an email address?

So far I've asked MAD, Suki, Murad, and Mario Budescu. I'm very tempted to ask DermOrganics as well because of all the great photos in this thread. But tbh, I really doubt I'll be using their skin products in the near future and didn't want to take up one of their sample packs from someone truly interested. I'm searching for something to help with sun and dark spots before summer hits south california. >_<

Just checked my email.  I have yes responses from La Face and Kelly Van gogh haircare.

And no from Andalou Naturals, Ilia Cosmetics, Kerastase, Rahua, and Shu Uemera.

Tata Harper has samples for a fee, but its a complicated email and they recommend that you purchase their kit of trial sizes for 65.00 instead of the single use sample for 5.00.

Has anyone tried contacting Mirenesse for samples? (not sure if I spelled that correctly, and I'm too lazy to check - sorry).  The beauty subscription services (Ipsy, Birchbox) have been including full sizes of their products lately so that might be a good one to contact if anyone is looking for makeup.  I have a lot of makeup and not interested in adding to my collection at the moment, so I haven't tried emailing them, but it might be worth a shot.

I said I wasn't going to email them because I have enough makeup, but didn't I just email them.  This is like an addiction.
