So many samples, so little time... Ha ha!

I've requested a lot of samples in the past few weeks, and have fallen in love with so many products.  Two brands I had never even heard of before I joined this thread are Actifirm and DermOrganics.  I love both of them!  After sampling, I purchased the Actifirm favorites kit, and then a few days later I purchased their night time skin care kit, and I just ordered an Actifirm mask online.  I also purchased DermOrganics shampoo, masque and leave in treatment.  Another product I was sent a sample of and purchased the full size is Sabon Vanilla Shower Oil.   I requested samples from Shea Terra Organics.  They didn't send any samples, but sent me a discount code that I used to purchase their foot scrub and foot butter.  I also love the John Masters Organics hair care products that I received samples of, and will purchase those products as well.  I also love Acure Organics products.  I'm purchasing their facial scrub and some body care products when I go to my Whole Foods today.

Requesting samples has worked out well for me.  I'm a little hard to please sometimes, and also have some minor skin sensitivities so its been great to by able to try such a variety of products before deciding on which to purchase.

I still have a big basket full of product samples to try!  I'm keeping a list of the ones I really like so I can add them to my rotation of products at some point.  Whats kind of funny is that the ones I thought I was going to be head of heels in love with, I wasn't.  I enjoyed my Erno Laszlo samples.  EL is a great brand, but I just didn't love it.  Maybe I didn't try the products long enough, but with the Actifirm products, I saw a big difference in my skin in just a couple days.  And with the DermOrganics, my hair had never looked so good or been so full of body.

I got Macadamia to use for trades. Their stuff is loaded with dimethicone, which makes me breakout.

Living Proof send some nice foils as well.

I haven't e-mailed any other haircare companies, but I have seen posts about samples from Jurlique, Clear, and Cashmere Curls. I e-mail on Sundays if I want samples, so I'll be going back through recent posts on this thread for haircare companies to ask later today. On second thought, Jurlique might have refused samples, but I'm not sure.
I know a lot of people here got Jurlique samples, but I sent them an email and never heard back and didn't receive any samples.  They were one of the first companies I requested samples from.  I got 4 packets of products from Living Proof.  I really like their products and will probably purchase them at some point.

John Masters Orgainics sent me a nice selection of their hair care products.  I like them a lot.  I don't like the way the John Masters shampoo feels in the shower (no suds at all!), but I love how my hair looks, feels and behaves afterwards.  Their products also smell divine!  Their product scents are all natural and include rosemary, hibiscus, neroli, etc

One thing I have been doing, which I know a lot of people here probably do as well, is that when I receive a sample in a jar (like the little clear plastic jars with the white lids that Mario Badescu samples come in) I remove the labels, wash the jars and use them to empty packets into.  I find that most packets have more than use of product in them, and it helps to transfer the packet contents into a container.

I'm very interested in purchasing products from that brand and I requested samples too.  In case they don't send me the body cream, can you let us know what you think of it after you try it?  I should have requested that product specifically, but didn't, and its one I want to try the most.
I really like it. I'm on a business trip in Moscow...I literally got in through the mail while I was packing my luggage. The scent is...odd. Raw shea butter smells "wild" to me, regardless of who makes it. Other than the scent, it is really nice.

Aside from Oscar Blandi and DermOrganics (both awesome!), has anyone received any other hair care samples?  I really want to try some new hair products.
uberlisse sent me 4 really good sized foils..Oribe will send you three products ( that smell AMAZING!). Living Proof..Aubrey sent me a ton of sample, a few of which were hair products, Macadamia sent 6 foils..you can pay $1 on Miss Jessie's web sit for two samples and for $5 you can get 6 samples on ojon's web site.

I was surprised to see another package from DermOrganics in my mailbox this morning.  They sent me another hair care kit and the skin care kit.  I'm in love with these products and already purchased the full size hair products.  I'm glad to have the extra travel sizes for weekends away or my gym bag.

Yay, this is the list I was offered from Morad and I was told to pick three. =)

1. Pore & Line Minimizing Hydrator
2. Age-Balancing Night Cream
3. Anti-Aging Acne Moisturizer SPF 20 | PA+++
4. Essential-C Day Moisture Broad Spectrum SPF 30 | PA+++
5. Perfecting Day Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 30 | PA+++
6. Hydro-Dynamic Ultimate Moisture
7. Oil-Control Mattifier SPF 15
8. Hydro-Dynamic Ultimate Moisture for Eyes
9. Essential-C Eye Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 15 | PA++
10. T-Zone Pore Refining Gel
11. Time Release Retinol Concentrate

I chose:

4. Essential-C Day Moisture Broad Spectrum SPF 30 | PA+++
9. Essential-C Eye Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 15 | PA++
2. Age-Balancing Night Cream
  I'm so glad I get to try these out before committing to buy. I was looking at the Essential C line at Sephora for this summer but it has such extreme online reviews both good and bad.

No, but I should.  I did post about them on my FB page and Twitter though.

How long did it take you guys to receive Mario B samples after you took the skin care test and received the email offering samples? It has been over a week since I received the "offering samples" email.

That's a great Idea. I am thinking of starting a blog just for these kind of reviews to give my honest opinion about the compamie's customer service and products. Then I want to e-mail the reps back to thank them. Most of he ones I talked to were super nice!

Yes, just the form on the website.

The samples are really travel sized products.  I asked to just try the hair care items, and they sent both the hair care and the skin care kits like is shown in photos on this thread. The hair care kit is shampoo, masque and an oil.  The skincare kit is cleanser, face moisturizer and a body lotion.  They're all great products!

I got an email from Sephora that says they're giving out 5 samples (packets) with an order this week.  I used to get excited for the 5 samples, but now 5 samples doesn't sound like that big of a deal anymore!

Yesterday I received my 2nd hair and skin care kits from DermOrganics, and few tubes of body butters from Lavanilla and several nice sample from Molton Brown.   Today I didn't have any samples in my mail, but it seems like almost every day there is a few little treats for me.

I'm also expecting my Birchbox next week.  I love Birchbox!
