Here are the samples I have received in the last 10 days. Macamamia, DerOrganic Actifirm, Jane Iredale, Mario Badescu (Ren, Caudalie, Therapy Systems) obtained from The Cosmetics Market for $8 shipping Nia24, Living Proof Dr. Hauschka (came in a nice tin that I steped on and crushed):icon_cry: , vbeaute, ring sizers
How did you get the ring sizers?
I use bsaving.com as well a emailing companies. Go under freebies. But that offer has expired. I got them from blue diamond. If you type in free ring sizer you can find other diamond companies that will give them out.

I just received an email from Evolvh organic hair care stating they now have samples available.  I emailed them quite some time ago when I first became interested in using organic hair care products but they didn't have samples at that time.  I have since found products that I love, but thought I would share here in case anyone here is interested in trying Evolvh.

I do the same thing.  If there is something specific I want to try I will request that, or just ask for recommendations and ask if they have a sample to send to me.  I find that by asking for recommendations, I tend to get entire lines rather than just one product.

I also rather have something to try that I actually like to use for specific skin or hair concerns! I have to go through everyones updates again and see if there is anything new.

Paula's Choice

Its funny how some companies tell one person yes and another person no.  I received a generous selection of products from Josie Maran but got a no from Neostrata and Whish.  Jane Iredale said they would send me samples, had me take a quiz, but then I never received anything.

I finally got a response back from Cargo - they do not do samples but said you can ask for samples from one of their retailers and then they gave me the link to the store locator on their website.

I haven't requested any samples in a few weeks, but I still get them in the mail.  Today I received Arcona's basic 5 skincare, and Dr. Brandt sent me big handfuls of packets of 3 of their anti-aging products.

Saturday I received samples of Moses shampoo, conditioner and mask - they sent me 6 big  packets of each product, and I've gotten 3 uses out of a single shampoo and conditioner packet. I haven't tried the mask yet.

I am in love with Paula's Choice products, and the company itself. 99% of my skincare comes from them. The customer service is always amazing too.

As for me, I don't usually ask for samples. Most of the time, I buy my own products to try out and review. Companies have approached me to do reviews on their products, and some of them are:

1) Maybelline

2) L'OReal

3) Vanity Trove (a monthly subscription box based in Singapore)
4) Bobbi Brown

5) Salvatore Ferragamo

6) Fancl

7) Laneige

8) Skinmiso (Korean brand)

9) Balmain

10) Vapour Organic Beauty

11) Clinique

12) Dermalogica

13) BECCA

14) Strivectin

15) Baby Quasar

There are definitely more, and you can check them out under the "Reviews" tab of my blog!

Thanks for reading.

xoxo,
Roxanne

That's not really what this thread is about. As consumers we like to try before we purchase an item.

Wow. Thank You. I hope she'll help. The last lady seemed kind of unhappy because I asked about skincare and lipstick samples.
Good luck. I mail them on Friday and received it on Tuesday.

Agreed! Companies don't have a problem sending out samples. Most of us end up purchasing if we like the product once we try the sample.

How do you guys go about getting these samples?
Go to the company's website. Find the contact us page.  It will either be an online form or an email address.  I tell them how I heard of the company and any product specifically I may have heard about that I want to try.  I tell them that I am interested in trying their products and list out my skin/hair concerns or makeup items that I am interested in.  I will ask them what products would be best for my skin/hair.  Then ask if possible to get samples to try before making a purchase decision.  I then list my name, address, and email, even if the form already asked for it.
