I emailed them and never heard back. Oh well. I'm loving the Missha BB Cream.Someone said they were going to contact skin79 about a sample of their bb cream. Did that person ever hear back?
I got Mediterranean. It smells nice. I went to illume's website and they have a few items on sale for a great price. If you sign up for their emails you get 10% off and free shipping on your first order.
Wow. That's awesome!Originally Posted by kalmekrzy /img/forum/go_quote.gif
A while back I sent a sample request for the GK shampoo and conditioner that was in Glossybox a while back. I wanted to try their color treated line. They sent me an email letting me know that they would be happy to send me samples to try. Well today this box comes and in it was full size shampoo and conditioner of the GK hair for color treated hair. I was speechless. Two other packages came one was a bunch of nice size samples of Mario Badesco skincare products and the other package contained a huge catalog of Guinot products but no samples which is fine because their products are expensive and I have so many samples to donate.
I'm super excited to try the shampoo and conditioner because I loved the ones that came in glossybox.
Regarding Nail Dazzle, I looked on their site. The mineral eyeshadows have a sample size option in the dropdown menu below "Sizes Available". It changes the price from $5 for the regular size to $1 for the sample size. The nail art glitter seems to have 3 different sizes, but starts at $5.Originally Posted by eclipsechick08 /img/forum/go_quote.gif
Surprisingly I've already heard back from a few companies.
Olie Biologique said they offer a sample trio for $8.95 & free shipping.
Burt's Bees said they don't offer samples but have kits for sale.
Koh Gen Do said they do offer samples and for me to let them know which items I had in mind. I requested a foundation sample, a primer sample, and a a blush/fresh face sample. They said they had certain items so I gave a few in case something isn't available.
Jane Iredale replied and said they can send me some lip products, a mascara, and some foundation. Actually I requested a sample of a concealer as well since I am in the market for a new one. I know this company is a hit or miss with most people. I spoke with Elizabeth.
The Nail Dazzle said each color has a sample option but I'm not too sure if she meant I had to buy sample sizes? I replied asking if they offered a sample of their eye primer.
Marula said sure and to just send them my address.
Miss Jessie's I got two samples from their site
L'Occitane just replied back with a yes as well.
Is it the 25th day from when you order, or from when it ships, or when you receive it?Originally Posted by plutorayz /img/forum/go_quote.gif
Okay ladies. Got the package and wow it is big! (that's what she said Ha!, sorry couldn't help myself.)
Anyways the products are: 2 sake-infused shave creams @ 6oz each, daily facial cleanser @ 3.4 fl oz, the exfoliating facial scrub @3.4 fl oz, the facial moisturizer @1.7 oz, and 2 razor repair balms @ 1.7 fl oz.
The "Return Products" is actually meant for their regular products not the subscription, so I called and spoke to their CS (not sure why everyone was so insistent on waiting for emails) and the woman I spoke to said that on the 25th day of your trial month (30 days) they send you an email asking if you would like to continue the subscription and instructions on how to go about cancelling.
So long story short make sure they're on your safe list. If it doesn't show up by the 26th morning I'd call them.
Now here are some pictures! ;D
I just tried this tonight, and it still worked.Originally Posted by plutorayz /img/forum/go_quote.gif
Tatcha has their VIP sample set for "free" on their site. "free" means you only pay $1.95 shipping. It ends tomorrow though so act fast.

I got an email from them about 25 days after I placed my initial order. The email was titled subscription status but the email was completely empty. I emailed them back and I got no response. I called the number on my invoice sheet that was sent with the box but it said it was disconnected (I even dialed the number 3 times just to make sure I was dialing it correctly.) There is no number listed on their website (at least the last time I checked) so after a couple days I wrote to them via facebook message and that was when they responded. My fiance likes their products, but their customer service is really lacking. Their stuff is sold in stores, so if he wants more, we'll try to find it in a store.Originally Posted by sleepykat /img/forum/go_quote.gif

Thanks for the reply. I hope they improve.Originally Posted by tinkerbll695 /img/forum/go_quote.gif

They really need to work on their CS its so hard to get a hold of themOriginally Posted by tinkerbll695 /img/forum/go_quote.gif

It was 25 days after the order. The email I received was totally legible, their 800 number is actually on the order slip, and I was able to speak to someone to get the info on how to cancel then and there. I think the reason they wouldn't let me cancel it then was because I had *just* gotten it and they likely wanted their product to actually get tried out hence the 25 day email (little do they know he still hasn't used it having bought new shave gel just prior to the order). Sorry some of you had issues with getting in touch with them/cancelling/etc.Originally Posted by diana16 /img/forum/go_quote.gif

Yikes! I emailed the address on the shipping slip a couple days after I got the package and I said that we loved the products but couldn't use them all in one month so we would like to buy them individually instead of as a subscription. They cancelled me right away and thanked me for the feedback. I'm sorry you all had such back luck with their CS!Originally Posted by plutorayz /img/forum/go_quote.gif

Jeeze, I would have flipped out. I'm allergic to cats so putting anything that's touched a cat hair actually ON my eye would be a miserable sort of day.Originally Posted by OiiO /img/forum/go_quote.gif
About Nail Dazzle, a while back I actually won some mineral eyeshadows in one of their giveaways and they sent them to me in plastic foil bags. I could live with that if only each container didn't have several cat(?) hairs in it... I've been a cat owner previously for 12 years so I would know what cat fur looks like. I emailed them about it and they pretty much pinky swore they don't have any animals over there, but my friend who also happened to win a month later told me she also had cat hair in hers and they were the same color...
