Has anybody that has gotten the VMV samples done the 7 day skin fast with their "know-it-all oil"?  I just got my samples in the mail today and there were 12 tubes of the know-it-all oil.  I'm intrigued by the idea of a skin fast, but I'm nervous about trying it and I'm not sure that I'll be able to do it.  My skin is incredibly picky and I break out easily and I'm pretty oily as it is.  The thought of not even using a cleanser for 7 days and only using oil on my already oily skin almost makes me shudder.  I'm just curious as to the results any of you may have gotten by doing the skin fast.  Thanks!

Using oil on oily skin isn't as bad as it sounds. I have oily skin and I use an oil based cleanser/makeup remover. I was told that my skin was oily because it was overproducing oil and compensating because I was stripping to much oil from my face with my face cleanser. I was skeptical at first, but it's worked out for me and my skin can be a little picky as well. It's the same with my hair, I had really oily roots but I've switched to a much gentler, sulfate free shampoo and conditioner and only wash my hair every 2-3 days and no more oily scalp! It does take a little bit to get used to, but once you do the results are well worth it, at least it has been for me. 

 
I got my Immunocologie shipment last week, after about a month of waiting, but it was opened and most had leaked out. I contacted the Customer Service Rep I had spoken to initially and let her know and she sent a new one out  which came two days later ( last week but I was too busy with midterms to post it).  Here it is in all its glory. :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />



It is 0.5 oz out of the typical retail size of 1.7 oz. Normal retail price is $275 which makes the sample size worth roughly $90

 
I just got my VMV Hypoallergenics samples. 7 know it all oils, and 17 others, including 4 shadows.  This is going to take me forever to get through!

I filled out the form online and they contacted me asking for my shipping info.

 
Ladies. Would you mind posting the links to the companies you're getting samples from? So long as you don't work for the company or post an affiliate/referral link you are allowed to post links. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> It would be so helpful.

They emailed me back pretty quickly - I'd say about a day. They shipped my package as soon as I responded.

Thank you! I filled out their form after I saw your post yesterday. Someone from the company got back to me last night and sent out a sample package this morning!

Same here. I emailed about 10 days ago and still haven't heard anything.

  Yeah I did that too.... When I saw your post I did it again, letting them know I hadn't yet heard from them and marked it "urgent". A little pushy? Sure, but I hate it when I'm left hanging. I did end up getting a response from them late last night though and they will be shipping samples out. :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I don't understand why some of these companies are so inconsistent. I've read that caudalie told some people they don't send out samples but they did send them out to some of us. Glad Liqwd contacted you. I've been wanting to try out their products because I haven't received any in my Birchboxes and I've heard good things about them.

Yeh, it definitely leaves something to be desired when they tell two people yes, then another person no, then back and forth. I completely understand if they run out, but I know people don't look kindly on them when they do that (though it could all come down to one cs is awesome and gives out tons of things and another doesn't). 

I've been curious about them when they first started appearing in BB too, though at the time they initially came out it was volume products and the last thing I need is MORE volume >.< I'm excited to try out the rest of their line though :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

 
Most places tell me no. I did hear back from liqwyd, asking me to "like" their fb page, then let them know so they can send samples. I finally got back to them yesterday, but haven't received a response from them.
