lol, because of this thread! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I'm sure this pops up in all kinds of "free sample" searches on google, so I bet the companies that have been mentioned for haven't sent things out on here have been deluged.
Good point.  I thought this thread had been around for a long time and gotten to 24 pages.  Only a few months, though...

awesome in store deal!

Exclusive Fekkai Offer! On October 11th, bring in any full size shampoo to your nearest Saks Fifth Avenue and get a complimentary full size Fekkai Advanced Shampoo! Your choice of Fekkai Advanced Essential Shea, Full Blown Volume, Brilliant Glossing, or Salon Technician 8oz Shampoo, while supplies last!

Aw, man!  The nearest Saks is over 500 miles away from me.  Sometimes small town living really sucks!

NOO I'm working tomorrow :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> it'll probably all be out when I get home, but thanks for the heads up! they just put a saks in my town a few months ago (we'll see how long it lasts, there are only so many women capable of spending $5000 on a dress).

Ah... it's the same with me. When I lived in a bigger city I didn't know about all these freebies :-( and now that I do know about them I can't take advantage of them :-(  c'est la vie

I called Boscia and am recieving these samples for 2.50 shipping

B.B. Cream SPF 27 PA++ Sample

boscia Detoxifying Black Cleanser sample packette - 2.5ml

boscia Oil-free Daily Hydration SPF 15 Sample

Enlivening Amino-AG Eye Treatment Sample

Oil-free Nightly Hydration Sample

Purifying Cleansing Gel Sample

I am really loving their products and its a total plus that they offer oil and fragrance free!

Another in store freebie:

Sleep Number mattress stores are giving away an illume candle (same brand that is included in this month's birchbox)

The event goes from 11am - 8pm...I'm guessing the earlier the better though! I find that the higher end department stores are always the best for freebies (The down side is that you have to look the part. I've walked away from Saks and Neiman Marcus loaded with freebies because I was carrying a designer bag. But when I went in in flip flops and a t-shirt I was not even given the time of day - and these are the times I actually am looking to buy things!)

What a bummer, I'm in uni from 10AM-6PM. I wonder if my mum can go during her lunch hour... I'm never taken seriously in higher end department stores though, no matter how I'm dressed. I assume they all think I look way too young to spend any money and therefore not worth their time, which just pisses me off, since it's kind of their job to help customers if they need it. I can't help how young my face looks but they can sure adjust their attitudes..

hate that! I was shopping in the city the other day, dressed in a Target sundress and a cardigan. I mean when I want to do some serious clothes shopping, I throw on something easy to take on and off :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />. I was trying stuff on at Zara--which is definitely NOT high-end--and the prissy little man at the fitting room was so unbelievably rude to me and no one else. lol though, when I shop vintage at my local thrift store, they'll inflate the price if you dress nice and the item isn't pre-marked.

I was also going to mention this, I got one and it is huge one, full size 40 hours burn time. I had to lay on their bed and let them find my sleep number, lol. After I told I was in a hurry, the lady started being really slow making the matress firm and soft 4 times up and down. I was going to just walk away...So be prepared to invest 15 minutes. It is worth it though.

I was planning on having to spend 10 - 15min in the store (which I didn't mind because I am interested in getting a new mattress soon) but I ended up getting a young male sales person who didn't really care :p. I just showed him the offer on my phone and he handed me a candle. And I was reminded yet again why I go to young male cashiers or sales people - they typically don't read all the fine print and just give me my freebie!

You got lucky;-) Or may be I was tricked into choosing my number and the freebie does not require it. What scent of candle have your got?

I got an email from Real Techniques and they are sending me the fine liner brush, setting brush, and foundation brush for product review. I sent them an email and asked if they had any brushes that I could try and submit a review. Another poster had posted a picture with the brushes they had received and I sent Real Techniques an inquiry before I had read that the person had been sent the brushes because they had shedding issues with one of their brushes. They sent an email in response to my inquiry telling me that they were forwarding my request to their PR firm and they would contact me if they were going to send a brush for me to review. I didn't figure that they would send me a brush let alone three to review. I'm really excited to try the brushes.i don't know how many people they would send brushes to. They probably won't send brushes to everyone who submits a request. I also received a great sample package from Actifirm (I don't remember requesting samples from them) and I will post pictures later.

Also my VMV Hypoallergenics samples came. They sent 11 samples of various cleansers, eye cream, serums and blushes and 6 know-it oil (pure coconut oil) samples. I have no idea why they sent me so many of one kind but it is an awesome moisturizer. My samples came from Singapore and had to be signed for. Did anyone have to sign for them and did they also come from Singapore?

The coconut oil is because they want you to do a 7day skin fast where you only use coconut oil on your face. No makeup, cleansers or moisturizers.
