I got the whole pack in store and it did not include a discount, just the membership card, makeover card, and lipstick.  I think only the vib qualifying pack gets the 10% (this is a standard code for 10% off- you can use it once a year after you requalify for vib.  the code is on the sephora codes only page).

@Jennifer Leigh  i had to get the rouge card in the store. and i didn't get a discount card when i hit rouge, just the makeover card and the lipstick.

Have you called the VIBR hot line 1-855-ROUGE-VIB?  they should be able to give it to you.  they can tell if you used it or not.

I got a discount thing as well.  I am not sure why some of you didn't - that is weird.  It was a one time use and I had to use it with xx amount of days.  Maybe it was a discount that I thought was part of Rouge but it was for something different??

there was a VIB qualification discount, but not a Rouge discount, from what i know.

Sooo...I just downloaded the Sephora app on my Galaxy phone so I could keep tabs on my Rouge Status points, when almost immediately, people in my yahoo address book started receiving spam emails from my account.  Seeing as how this is the first App I've downloaded in quite sometime, this can't be a coincidence, can it?  Anyone else experience that with the Droid app?

I have the app but never had that happen, I have the G S4...but I use google not yahoo.

Yahoo has serious issues with spamming people. I have to disable my contact list with them because if it's on I get spammed and so does everyone on my contact list. I only use my contact list with Gmail.

Sigh...I know, but I have all my history tied up with this one email address, that I don't want to deactivate it.  Okay, hopefully it was just Yahoo being a pain in the butt and not the Sephora App itself.  Thank you ladies!

Just a thing I saw on the regular sephora thread....

"I feel kind of guilty, but Sephora let me order my birthday gift 6 times before It stopped letting me add it to orders. I received all six. Also, when I added one for my mother (on her account) she got an eyeliner (the "Rouge only" package) even though she's just a BI."

Yet another rouge "perk" that apparently anyone can use, not that I blame them I would use it too. But as a rouge member I feel let down again by Sephora.

I just posted this on the other Sephora thread! I definitely want to know people's shopping lists.

My strategy is to buy things in store that sell out online, then pick up a few things online to get additional samples.

In store:

NARS concealer (my shade is sold out online)

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Dim Infusion (shade sold out online)

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Dim Light (Restocking)

REN global Day Cream (sold out online)

BB cream (want to try out a few brands in store)

Look for new NEST fragrances in store to test scents

Online:

REN Rediscover Radiance Kit

NARS or Marc Jacobs eyeshadow duo/trio???

Gah! I feel like I'm being so boring just restocking on things I'm low on....

So is anyone else flipflopping about going on Sun? Part of me wants to go but part of me is thinking this could be a huge bust. It has potential for fun and potential for me being one of like 3 people that get hounded by brand reps because no one else is there.

I'm going to go.  I think it has the potential to be fun...plus I like the idea of shopping early.  I don't need help from SAs but I do like the idea of being able to shop and swatch with less people.  I usually try to shop during "off hours" to avoid crowds, groups of teenagers, etc.  I have no idea how many people to expect....my Sephora is in a smallish town, but it is the south, so there's got to be plenty of other southern ladies blowing all their cash on makeup who are going to go....right???

I'll be about two blocks from the downtown Seattle location Sunday (Emerald City Comic Con!)  Whoo!), but I just keep thinking about the last time one of these events happened.  I was not impressed.  I have better ways to spend my time Sunday.  Like chatting up hungover comic book artists/writers.

dude that sounds a zillion times more fun than coffee with the sales associates. I'm wary of this whole closed door shopping thing. 11 falls within normal mall hours. you're telling me they are going to turn away paying customers? so maybe from 9-10 i dunno this is so weird. this is why you cant take me places i overthink everything......(huddles in corner stroking her tablet "internet sweet internet".)

i really want the gwp bag (the bag itself, not the samples), so i sorta kinda wanna go. but they really did pick the most off peak hours on the most off peak day of shopping. i don't even know if the shortcut mall-subway door is already open at that time! (maybe so, but i don't know, i've never been to downtown that early on a sunday)

I'd be more inclined to go if my guest had gotten back to me, but just me alone? It's not worth it to me. That's not Sephora's issue though.
