I got my invite today too.  I am glad it starts on a Sunday, because when it starts on a week day I have to find something to do around 10am when the mall opens so I can still get a goodie bag.  lol

Funny how I got an invite in the mail for the Rouge Event, but my mom didn't.  We're both Rouges and live in the same household.  Jeez, they can't even get the snail mail right!!

I didn't, but I'm wondering if they're sending it out when your birthday approaches? Mine is July, so that may be why, but given all the VIB Rouge email dramas going on, figured I would double check.

Yep, birthday emails get sent at the start of your birthday month, if I recall correctly.  Or maybe two weeks before your birthday.  Either way, they're not sent out months in advance, and if you don't get the email, you can still just go in the store and get it.  And it actually showed up on the Sephora app in the point perks section for me when it became active and went away about a week after I redeemed it in-store, so I think it might have allowed me to redeem it multiple times on the app, but I didn't care enough about it to bother with multiple redemptions (if we were talking about the Fresh lip balms, well, that's a whole different story).

SO I didn't get the email for the ROuge event, but thanks to you gals I was able to register my friend and I. I noticed the bottom of the page said "Voucher must be presented at time of redemption when used in store."

Has anyone gone to something like this before? Do I REALLY need to print this page???

The emails actually haven't gone out yet, so you may get one, they supposedly are going out on the 23rd-24th. But I was at Sephora today and I asked them if I needed the email because I'm having issues not getting sephora emails, they told me as long as I'm registered to come it will be fine. Hmmmm...my Sephora birthday is in January and I added the gift (last year's) to an online purchase. I got an email this week with the message of happy belated birthday and the code. Wonder if they're just sending it to people whose birthdays have already passed this year who received last year's gift.

Hey all, after deciding to look into Sephora's competitors, I saw a mention of Beauty.com from one of our fellow contributors.  Now they don't have all the brands Sephora does, but it's still a pretty broad selection.  If you want a great GWP bag filled with $120 worth of samples, they're offering one when you make a $100 purchase.

I just got it in the mail today and it's really pretty.  The samples are all nicely sized.  My only gripe is that the link says it includes a $10 gift card to Beauty.com.  This is actually a $10 off coupon code for a purchase of $50.

Regarding their customer service, I had some technical difficulties with the website but the online chat agent was extremely helpful.

So overall, if they have a better deal, I'd definitely use Beauty.com as an alternative. Sorry if someone already posted about this, but I really wanted to share with any other frustrated VIB-Rs.

So per Sephoras facebook page the Rouge event on the 30th will NOT be giving out gwp bags to the +1's. I've invited a friend and told her about the gwp, now I feel like an a$$! Thanks Sephora you couldn't scrape together enough 1 time use samples for the people we invited to shop in your store???

I got a discount and the lipstick in the mail.    I did not get a card - I went into sephora to get my bright red card /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I had to add it to an order. It didn't automatically arrive.

Strange - it doesn't give me the option to add it to an order? It just let me add the lipstick with the makeover card. No actual rouge card (the makeover card says to show it or the rouge card) and I got no discount for hitting rouge.

Whoops, it was the makeover card, not the Rouge card itself. I still don't have the latter. I keep forgetting that. You have to get that in-store, but my stores suck for multiple reasons, so I still don't have that. I just use the phone app.
