Just for the record, I didn't get one so they aren't going out to everyone. I've spent probably $250ish so far.

though! I saw 3 other gals who got the same email on the Sephora thread, must be a glitch because my account shows I have a lot to spend to get another year of rouge.

I'm usually a lurker but I registered today because I'm just frustrated. I'm not receiving any emails from sephora since hitting rouge and I feel like I've missed out on so much /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Yeah that sounds bout right. I find out most of my Rouge info here and often it's in the regular Sephora thread. I feel your frustration and I won't be going for rouge again, but will have multi vib accounts, most of our rouge perk promos work for the vibs so.....

So the value on this is $10 for the mask, $9 for the eye cream and $4.75 dermabrasion = Just under $25 in product

I HATE that origins mask so I won't break no-buy for this one, but it's nice to see some perks come out on a regular basis. $35 minimum is kind of lame, but I'll take what I can get at this point /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Yeah I wasn't too excited by this one, but you're right about taking what we can get! I also posted on the regular sephora wall, but I just put down there was a new perk. I want Rouge to at least get a chance at the perkss before they sell out from vibs purchasing. Not that I don't want vibs to get great stuff, next year I will have 3 vib accounts instead of rouge. So please keep letting them use the rouge perks /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> just let me get my greedy little hands on them too!

I'm torn on the Rouge thing too. I'm already VIB for next year so I can't decide if I should just keep buying and hit rouge again or start a second account to get 2 VIB's. Rouge doesnt really make sense, but I do like free shipping and I keep thinking maybe it will get better!

For each account you get the $15 gift card at xmas, VIBs can use the rouge codes so the only rouge advantage is free shipping really.

Ugh...Thanks for that info.  Now I'm seriously considering dropping Rouge at the end of the year and just creating multiple VIB accounts instead.

Free shipping is just "whatever" for me, it's hard for me not to spend $50. I will break my order up to get extra perks and use the free shipping that way.

The other thing is some codes (the good ones) are one time use, with multi accounts you can use them a few times. At least that's what I'm thinking.

Thats a good point. I reviewed my account and since hitting rouge in November of last year, I've put in 4 orders that were less than $50. I used one code twice. Is that worth the extra $650?? I don't think so.  I think once no-buy is over, my plan is going to be:

1. Hit platinum at Ulta first

2. Start a new account for online and use it for any orders over $50 to try and hit VIB there (shouldnt be hard)

3. Continue to use my rouge account for in-store, and if I hit it again, great. If not, that's ok too.

Yup forgot about one time use codes. I love free shipping because $50 or over I feel I have to ask hubby ( my feeling not a rule), little orders I just tell him I placed one. I buy mostly sets and kits so not usually over $50 in one order.
