SEPHORA: VIB Rouge

Welp, hit it by accident in store today (wasn't planning on it but the hubby needed lotion and that put me over). I'm excited to have an actual plastic card, never had one for BI or VIB since I mostly order online. The cashier seemed very excited and was telling me how great it was. Smile and nod, smile and nod....hopefully they step it up next year!

At the very least, we know that the Rouge birthday gift for 2014 has an additional item than the regular BI/VIB one.

True. Hopefully the start of good things! As a side note, does anyone else's store ring a bell when you check out? When I hit it, the cashier got on her headset and commented that someone hit rouge. They rang a bell and yelled out rouge and it was all terribly exciting. I've been back twice since...and they ring that stupid bell and yell "ROUGE" EVERYTIME I check out now. Is this just my store or has anyone else had this happen? I'm an introvert to the extreme and honestly it's kind of awkward to have the entire store stop and stare when it's busy. First world problems I know, but still.

Am rouge and they've not rung the bell for me yet.  Might just be that NY gets too much traffic and they've been instructed not to do that?

Just hit VIBR online and received my welcome card. When I hit VIB last month my welcome packet had a 10% off entire purchase. I thought I'd at least get a % off when I reached Rouge. Was that everyone's experience too?

yes - rouge comes with a Bite Lipstick and the card, as well as a card for unlimited and free use of the beauty consultants (or whatever they're called!)

Did anyone else get the Rouge offer for the Sephora Pantone lipstick in the 2014 orchid shade? The email said that only 200 are available for sale. I went ahead and ordered it...I hope I like the color when it arrives. I also ordered the glamglow sample and I hope that it doesn't get substituted.

I did the same thing.  Not sure if the 200 is the "total" number available or just the Rouge pre-order, but I figured it would be worth having, especially if it is just 200.  Not sure about orchid lipstick, but I've found that the colors that look the strangest in the tube sometimes look the best on.

I ordered the Glamglow sample as well.  I haven't tried it before, but I know a lot of the ladies on MUT rave about it.  I think I'll be pretty ready for any mask parties that may go on around here for a few months with the items I've received lately.

Just saw the email and the lippy is sold out. Seems like if they're offering it to us before it's released they should have more than 200. Oh well I need another lipstick like a hole in the head!

OMG! Thank you for posting that!! Got the tarte blush and eyeliner and finally gave in and pulled the trigger on the d&g reward. Thinking about putting in another one for the best of kitten set (I have $25 visa gift cards so I have to split...let's hope I don't get banned)

I wish I saw this earlier! They sold out of my color in the Tarte foundation. So I ordered the wrong color hoping I will be able to exchange it at a Sephora.

I really think this fear of banning is overblown.  Has this happened to anyone within the past week or two?  It seems like it all blew up right around the Blitz bags and Black Friday, and then it's calmed down.  The big thing that seems to have caught people up has been using the same promo code that stated they were supposed to be one per customer -- like the Blitz bag promo code -- multiple times.  I've made multiple small-dollar orders (including one for $6 this morning), and I haven't been banned yet.  If I do, well, a very nasty letter will go out, and then I will take my money elsewhere.  I can't think of a single thing they carry that I can't live without or find elsewhere.  (In related news, I should go on a no-buy for anything sold at Sephora anyway.)
