Yeah, honestly, I haven't heard about it as much either, but I also know the girls on the Sephora boards have kind of given up even talking about it, and whenever there's a spin-off board created for a specific topic here, then, well, it's dead in the water, lol.  Not that I'm arguing, I can understand the topic needed to be moved, but even I have a hard time finding it/getting around on these boards and I'm not new here, so who knows. But I do agree- it's DEF calmed down, whether this was caused by a) girls exaggerating (which I personally try to give the benefit of the doubt) B) it's because of promo codes and the promos haven't been as amazing lately, c) Sephora actually FIXED IT or d) other, I dunno, but I really hope this is a sign that things are getting better!

For those who were wondering what color the pencil is in the VIBR birthday gift, it's black (which means the eyeliner and mascara will be going up for swap, but that's a whole separate thing).  My birthday is the 21st, and I thought it was supposed to be activated on your account two weeks before your birthday, but it's there for me now!  I'm going to be waiting a little while before I snag it, though.  I'm hoping for another good point perk (I don't like any of the ones currently available except the Nars one, and that's supposed to be sitting on my doorstep when I get home from work on Friday) or even a bag-of-goodies promo.

I'm worried about my Rouge status. I qualified on December 31st and my order shipped yesterday, January 1, with my Rouge welcome kit. I looked online and it said that I need to spend $2XX more to extend my VIB status through 2015. I hope that my order counted towards Rouge instead of VIB for this year (or both, haha). 

I'm going to wait a few more days and then contact them if my status doesn't update.

It activates 28 days before your birthday and is also good 28 days after your birthday, so the window is quite large /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> It says so in their FAQ somewhere, I posted it in the regular Sephora thread at one point.

That's great! My account hasn't updated yet, but I did see that the $200 I spent on 12/31 counted towards my VIB status for this year. Hopefully my account updates soon.

I just saw the Sephora MUF 2014 birthday set...

lipstick, mascara and rouge get an black eyeliner as well...

I am happy with the birthday gift, however, i think for me to feel 'rouge special'...   instead of black eyeliner, I'd recommend sephora offer rouges 'eyeliner of following color choice: green/teal, purple, grey, white/champagn"

Since the recent MUF eyeliner set that was on sale, actually had those colors as minis, that means 1) the production line is there 2) given that we are rouge, one can make the assumptions that we've all got AT LEAST one black eyeliner, really, another black eyeliner wouldn't make it so 'special'.....

That would be cool. They could also coordinate with eye color - a set for brown eyes, blue eyes, hazel eyes, etc. Or they could give us a voucher for a MUFE liner of our choice

While checking out I mentioned I wished I had enough points for that perk but I just cashed in and only had 360, sigh...and the girl said she could give me the perk and my points would just go negative. She laughed and said "You're Rouge we know you're good for it!"

Ooh, I like this one better than the offer I got! I can't paste it (on my phone), but it's posted over in the Sephora discussion thread: a one-month supply of Caudalie Vino serum (or something like that) with $35 purchase and the code VINOROUGE. The NARS code is much more my speed.
