I'm in Milwaukee WI! This is the only sephora in the area so I guess they need to step up their game.

yea, you got some nice sized samples!  where is the sephora you went to?  i wish mine had had samples that size (and i went to times sq, which i would expect to have good ones!)

Those samples are disappointing. I was looking forward to those more than the tote.. Guess I'll still go. Huh.

Another question: Anyone tried Nails Inc nail polishes? The spring collection set colors are pretty, but it has bad reviews at the Sephora site.. I appreciate any feedback! Thanks!
I have one of the feather looking ones and while it was pretty and I liked the finish, it chipped really quickly and I'm really gentle on my nails, so yeah.

I'm debating whether or not to pack up my 4-yr old and go. It is chilly out, and abt a half hr drive. Not sure.

Maybe call your Sephora and see if the tote is full of deluxe samples or foils.

That should help make your decision!!!!!

I just got back from the mall. I really appreciate the different sample reports, because my mall has a JCP Sephora, and a regular Sephora. I liked the look of the regular Sephora samples better, and I just like that store better, so it worked out. I really love the tote. I am actually going to use it. It reminds me of some of the nice, water resistant grocery totes, and it's a nice size.

Samples:

Make Up Forever Pro Finish powder foundation card for Fair Complexion - it has four little circles inside to compare colors. I don't think I could really get an idea for how well it wears from the teeny-tiny amounts, but I didn't really want to switch to a powder foundation anyway, so whatever.

Algenist Multi-Perfecting Pore Corrector Concentrate .05 oz foil packet. I love Algenist, but I have no idea what this is for. Is it a primer? A treatment? Before or after makeup?

Bumble and bumble thickening shampoo and conditioner foil packets. .24 oz each

Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream foil packet on a card in Light.

Nude Perfect cleansing oil .06 oz foil packet

Josie Maran Argan Oil Hair Serum .03 oz foil packet - sounds like a lot of silicone

Ole Hendricksen Sheer Transformation moisturizer .1 oz

Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue eau de toilet in a vial on a card

It's kind of fun getting samples, even if they are small and not particularly tailored to me. I also bought the Tarte Maracuja oil concealer, because it is really wonderful, and the 2 oz First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream. I saved 5.40 :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Not the best samples, but oh well. I really only planned on getting the Ole Henriksen, but damn clearance sucked me in! Finally got over 500 points, still I'm holding out for a good perk! Too bad I got the Aqualillies palette already, could've saved some money.

I think I'm going to get that during the sale!  Would you recommend it?

The roads improved this afternoon, so I went to Sephora and got my bag! Here's a pic of what was inside.

Nothing I'm too excited about, but I wanted to see foundation colors in person before buying one so I needed to go to the store anyway. I bought Urban Decay Naked Foundation and some Sephora setting powder. I also had enough points for a 100 pt reward, so I got the Stila Convertible Color sample. I will probably be back again before Chic Week is over, I have a few more things I want but should probably wait for my next payday.

ETA: I went to a regular Sephora store, not Sephora in JCP.

Yes! The packaging alone is gorgeous! It's compact enough, you could toss it in your purse and the blush is beautiful, so is the blue. The rest are nuetral shades, but pretty and decently pigmented. Oh and there's a nice highlighter, too.

I went to a regular sephora and got those samples too. I still can't believe they only haven't us foils. I do like the bag more than I thought, it will be perfect when I am running to the school to do PTA and need to bring my iPad and snacks for my youngest but don't want to bring my purse. I got a Fresh Grapefruit rollerball (forget the official name) and saved three bucks. I spent twelve bucks at build a bear next door. ROFL

I went; wasn't impressed. The girl that helped me was really nice, but I was so disappointed that everything on my list was out of stock. She said that they were low on a bunch of stuff. I told that they weren't very prepared for chic week, lol. I bought a nail polish remover to get my bag of lame samples (I do like the bag) and came home and ordered the oz palette (daughter's bday gift) and the opi metro chic nail polish set. Had more fun (and spent way more money, lol) at Lush.

I got a retractable lip brush and one of those refillable travel powder brush things -- and my coworker got a Kat Von D eyeliner, so I got her points, too. The bag is cute and exactly the kind of bag I use to take breakfast things to work, so I was happy just to get that. I'll be getting more things after payday tomorrow, but I might just order them so I can get better bonus items (unless Moonitude says that one of the stores in the area has some cooler bonuses, in which case I'll go to that specific store to clear things off my list. I just don't have the time to store hop before the discount ends).

Decided to order online for Chic Week. I picked up a new Korres face wash and the Tarte Aqualillies palette for $50.15 - perfect total to take advantage of free shipping!

Just make sure to bring your VIB card and at least mention that you got the email about the discount.  You don't have to actually bring the discount card in to receive the 15% off.

I only went to the Sephora in the Clackamas Mall. I didn't even check the JCP Sephora. I usually just order online when I want to use points. I love all of the VIB codes. I know we can get %15 off right now, but some of those VIB codes are so good.

You girls were totally right about that Tarte concealer, btw. I don't think I've ever looked so un-tired. It looks like I don't have under eye circles. I didn't know that was possible for me.

I completely agree with you-- the VIB codes can be awesome!  I prefer shopping online, because my usual Sephora at Washington Square in Tigard doesn't cut it for me in regards to customer service.

I actually forget the JCP is even there! The downtown store has a philosophy fragrance set for a 500-point perk, but, well, you know about *that* collection, so I'm not touching a philosophy set. I was really hoping one of them would bust out a Nars set.

I purchased the Aqualillies today & I'm surprised how much better these Tarte eyeshadows are compared to the ones I have tried in the past.
