Sephora Chic Week 2013

I called Sephora today before heading in and they said that the tote offer is for today only.  Maybe that's just for the New York area. I'd confirm with them first.

 

 

I think technically iris only for today, one of the ones here told me they had plenty leftover still so if I came tomorrow they'd stil give me one

I checked out the sale today and got my tote. It's much nicer than the totes from last year.  I picked up Nars Multiple in Copacabana, The Kat Von D tattoo liner in Lapdance (purple), and they hooked me up with some Boscia samples as I've been wanting to try different face stuff.   I looked at both the Eyeko liner trio and the Kat Von D, but I thought the purple in the KVD was much nicer than Eyeko's.  I have Eyeko in black/olive already and love them, but figured i'd try a different liner based on everyone's reco.

My Sephora was out of almost all sets. I wanted to pick up that Tarte Palette as a present for someone but all they had were some of the sale priced ones for regular price /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

They were all out of samples and just had bags. When I asked about the samples I was handed a free fish taco at Rubios coupon, chickfila free sandwich and shake coupons and discount on tanning along with a mens cologne sample. Oh and a lip balm with spf from the tanning place. kind of weird.

OMG what mall did you go to?  Otay? I went to UTC around 3:30pm and they had a few bags left.  I made nice with a cashier (I also shop there a lot) and she held one for me!  And thta is the most random collection of stuff ever.  I for one love Rubio's fish tacos! Lol

That is why I went to UTC instead of Fashion Valley.  They are usually less busy!  But now that they are putting in more high end stores and "fancied" it up, i gets way more traffic!  I liked it better when it was the mall not a lot of people shopped at! Lol

I had a very small haul --- literally tiny. I purchased two eyeliners... both are new UD 24/7 eyeliner shades in Empire and Sabbath. Sabbath is gorgeous and I pick up Empire tomorrow! I really was looking forward to that tote since I was unable to make it to the event late last year. I wish the samples were deluxe samples similar to that of the point perks, but oh well.

Hooray for a tiny shopping spree lol! I bought UD 24/7 eyeliners in Chaos and Cuff, as well as the medium size bottle of Josie Maran's Argan Oil! If that darn UD Vault is going to elude me then by golly, I shall build my collection one by one! lol I have 8 (2 full size now and 6 travel sized)....only 32 more to go

how does the blush compare to thebalm instain in swiss dot?

I ordered both and idk if swiss dot is different enough from the blush in the palette to justify keeping swiss dot. I'm suppose to be getting the palette today so I can compare in person, but I'm impatient and I want to know now

I had considered going to Fashion Valley but ended up at Otay Ranch. They had a DJ setting up and a lady serving Organo Gold coffee. Everything they had was really random.

I ended up buying my aunt a YSL lipstick as a gift and myself a small Caudalie miracle oil. Ended up buying the other present I needed at Anthropologie.
